Also trying out the Essential C Day Moisture for the 2nd time. It’s a different experience this time because I’ve been usin1g this with the Rapid Spot Correcting Serum.

Usually, I like retinol products way more than Vitamin C in my skincare. But my pregnancy made me avoid retinol for a while. Murad Environmental Shield Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum
Do you remember what I said about Murad Retinol Serum in my previous post?
Murad Environmental Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum makes me feel the vitamin-C version of Murad Youth Renewal Retinol Serum instead of retinol. Although Murad claims a fast action, however, the serum works on my skin in a slow-and-steady way.
Murad claims that their three key ingredients AKA Murad’s NHP – 3 technology (Niacinamide, Hexylresorcinol, and Plankton Extract) is proven to even out skin tone reduce key signs of aging.
- Niacinamide – enhances cell turnover to visibly reduce the appearance of dark spots.
- Hexylresorcinol – minimizes the damage that can lead to future discoloration and reduces the appearance of age signs.
- Plankton Extract – an Encapsulated blend of green and brown microalgae that visibly dissolves dark spots to revitalize the skin’s natural tone.

Apart from vitamin-c but Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum is made of Oligopeptides and has subtle light-reflecting pearls in it that makes the skin look plumped radiant almost instantly.
my experience with Murad (Rapid Age Spot Correcting) Vitamin C serum:
This is one luxurious Vitamin C serum that I really and simply enjoy using. I go through every bottle of this serum super fast. When I have this serum I literally don’t feel like to use anything else, like it this much. I also like the packaging of it very much.
Texture-wise this serum is a lightweight cream like serum infused with pearls (as mentioned before). It goes underneath any moisturizer very well. Skin feels plumped, nourished and radiant but not sticky after every use.
The serum really works on uneven skin tone and dullness when I use it religiously. don’t expect a super-fast, seven or ten-day result. A before and after picture with a 4/6 months gap might show the visible effect I believe. Right now my skin is going through all that pregnancy Jazz; for example, the pregnancy mask, dryness, sensitivity and sometimes over oiliness. Murad Environmental Shield Vitamin C Serum has been maintaining my skin tome, age signs and dullness pretty well.
This is a serum for all skin type and I also like using it any time of the day. I just take care of my sun protection for day time as because it has these ingredients like Vitamin C and Niacinamide.

With vitamin C, niacinamide and all that jazz there comes the need for SPF protection. Isn’t it awesome when your moisturizer comes with the right amount of sun protection and saves the effort and time of using a separate sunscreen? I swear by a moisturizer with SPF especially for when I’m staying at home during the day.
Essential-C Day Moisture is the all-in-one day moisturizer that has Vitamin-C and also SPF 30, PA +++ in it. The best part it’s not sticky and filled with antioxidants.

Like all Murad’s Environmental Shield skincare products this Essential-C moisturizer also protects the skin from UV rays and free radical damage. It feels lightweight on the skin and does not give any white cast or such. It helps to maintain radiant skin even if I use it with the Environmental Shield Vitamin C Serum or not.
