5 Most USELESS Baby Products That You Must Skip While Shopping For A Newborn

6

When The nesting instinct hits during pregnancy a mother literally feels like to buy everything possible for her baby. The market is full of delightful and incredible when it comes to baby products. It’s easy to get swept up in it all but we definitely don’t want to waste our hard-earned money. It’s wise to hold the emotions and plan for the future rather than spending on unnecessary baby stuff.

Here are the five USELESS baby products I have found for a newborn baby…

1. Baby shoes

Baby shoes are always ‘Oh-damn-cute’ and while I was shopping for my baby I honestly wanted to have them all. I’m sure if you’re about to have a baby and out in the market for baby products then you simply feel the same. But the reality is a newborn is always packed up in an onesie or in the swaddle. They also sleep most of the time. They don’t need a show at all. Practically until they can stand up a shoe is useless.

2. Cloth Bibs

I found that newborn babies don’t make saliva enough so you’ll need a bib to catch them. This product becomes useful later when they start solids or start teething. In case if you want to catch spitted milk then disposable tissue papers are more handy, plus hygenic.

At the age of 4 to 6 months a silicon or a non-cloth bib is far better than a cloth bib. Trust me a stained cloth bib is so disgusting and those stains on the bib doesn’t go away with anything.

3. Too many NB size clothes

When making a list shopping list of baby products this is probably will be first thing a to-be-mother would like to grab. Because shopping for baby clothing is seriously addictive and peaceful. Totally talking from my experience!

Although I was aware of this and bough limited sets of NB size baby clothes for my one yet half of them were useless. Babies grow up so fast that I needed to size up in just two weeks for Teo’s cloths. As a matter of fact, within the first two months, I had to size up 3 times for Teo.

4. Bottle/wipe warmer

This is a conditional fact and one of the product that your baby might need and might not.

If you’re not going to store breast milk in the freezer then you won’t need a bottle warmer at all. Also, you won’t know at the beginning that you’re going to produce as much milk that you’ll be able to store. The best idea is to keep a bottle warmer in your ‘purchase-as-you-go’ list.

For a wipe warmer, I think normal temperature is good enough to give baby-butt a soothing clean. Warming up the wipes is kinda unnecessary.

5. Ready-made Swaddle wraps/bags

There are many readymade swaddle wrap options available in the market. For instance, with velcro, with a zipper, with a magnetic strap, and so on. They look so easy to use compared to wrapping baby with a traditional swaddle blanket. I bought a few ready-made swaddle wraps for Teo.

When Teo was a newborn those swaddle bags turned out so big. Later when he grew enough to fit in I tried to wrap but these ready swaddles never felt baby-fit and comforting enough for the baby. I realized the good old manual style, maslin swaddle blankets/clothes are the best and those easy looking swaddle bags were just a waste of money.

While shopping for a newborn it is always the best decision is to buy baby products as you need. You want to get things that are useful to your baby but not to get overwhelmed with useless things. Also, leave some stuff to buy later. Think this way that if we buy everything on our baby shopping list at once what we going to buy later!? This is also true that the baby shopping list never ends and there are so many cute and impossible-to-pass products out there!

Regardless of everything,
babies actually don’t need much. All they need is your love a care 🤱🏻

By Wishtrend Quad Active Boosting Essence & My Postpartum Skincare

2

I’m in the fourth trimester of my pregnancy where my skin been acting really weird. It is overly dry and sorta rough. When I was just thinking to refresh my skincare routine and to focus on hydration more just then this Wishtrend Quad Active Boosting Essence was sent to me to give this a try. This beautiful golden bottle made me excited instantly, didn’t wait a day to add it to my skincare routine.

Ingredients of Quad Active Boosting Essence:

This essence is a fresh new By Wishtrend Essence that is formulated with Propolis, 3-complex ingredients, honey ad black tea ferment. Honey is not something that excites me in skincare or in my food. Other than that I got hopeful seeing propolis in its ingredient. Because Propolis is known for its healing, balancing, and restorative characteristic.

Aqua(Water), Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract(10%), Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water(9%), Schisandra Chinensis Fruit Extract(9%), Morus Alba Bark Extract(8.7%), Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract(8.7%), Methylpropanediol, Glycerin, Saccharomyces/Honey Ferment Filtrate, Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, 1,2-Hexanediol, Propolis Extract(1%), Butylene Glycol, Benzyl Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin

The packaging of Wishtrend Quad Active Boosting Essence has definitely a gorgeous look to it. This golden glass bottle compliments my vanity so well however I don’t find the packaging users friendly! It’s hard to tackle such a watery product when dispensed on bare hands. I wish it would come with a sprayer!

My postpartum skincare with By Wishtrend Quad Active Essence:

I’m not much of an essence person. I mostly find myself skipping toner while using essence or visa versa. Mainly because essence and toners mostly have the same texture and it’s mundane to use two similar products on top of each other. Not overly but kinda same happening with this Qad Active Boosting Essence

I am using Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic as my toner at the moment (whenever I’m using a toner) then I follow up with this Wishttrend Quad Active Bossing Essence. The texture of the essence is as thin and runny as water. Which is why I find it difficult to directly apply on the face. Instead of applying the Quad Active Essence directly, I’m using cotton pads. I soak the cotton pad with the essence and then lightly swipe over my face.

I was actually wasting a lot of product as I was soaking a cotton pad instead of using directly. This way at least I’m able to control the application of it. And so, saying it again, I wish it had a spray dispenser!

For my night-time skincare routine after applying Wishtrend Quad Active Essence I was layer two serum; first The Ordinary Niacinamide serum and then Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic serum. Lastly, I would finish off with a moisturizer (just started using Ponds age Miracle Night Cream).

My Experience with Quad Active Essence:

The Quad Active Essence feels very lightweight on the skin and leaves no stickiness although the ingredient list consists of honey and glycerin. It absorbs fast and my skin feels instantly hydrated after application. I also find it soothing to my nose because it’s not fragrant.

In conjunction with the other skincare products, I’ve been using in my skincare Wishtrend Qad Active Boosting essence been doing really good reviving my postpartum skin. I’ve also tried this alone for a couple of days and found out that it really works retaining thee moisture back on the skin.

The essence claims to have anti-inflammatory, anti-pollution, and anti-bacterial effects. I don’t have any other issues such as breakouts or so except dryness and rough texture of the skin so I couldn’t really justify those facts. I’m sure this will be one of those products that I’m going to miss once I’m done using it.

Do I recommend this By Wishtrend Essence?

Yes I do.

In general, I find Korean skin care products are quite good to give that boost of hydration on the skin. Considering the postpartum dehydrated skin I’ve now and the way this Wishtrend Quad Active Essence been helping me to maintain the hydration level, it is impressive.

Plus It is suitable for all skin types.

Orgga Skincare | Natural, Organic and made in Malaysia – is it halal as well?

8

Very recently I was introduced to Orgga Skincare. A Malaysian Skincare brand that claims to be all-natural and organic. Initially, I thought it’s a Halal certified brand. I have been wanting to experience the ‘Halal Beauty’ aka halal skincare and cosmetics for a while so decided to give Orgga a try. However later I realized they’re not labeled ‘halal’ but cruelty-free and natural.

I have no idea why my brain tried to relate to the ‘halal’ term with Orgga Malaysia. Perhaps because I see this term a lot around me lately. The term “halal” which is mainly for food is also nowadays focused on our lifestyle aspects; for instance, halal makeup, halal nail polish, halal perfumes and so on.

Do you wonder…

What is Halal Skincare aka Halal Beauty?

Halal skincare or Halal Beauty products are those that are products permitted under Shariah law and must fulfill certain conditions. Mainly these products have natural plant-derived ingredients, are free from animal by-products (e.g. Gelatin Lanolin, collagen, etc) or alcohol and are paraben-free. Also free from any ingredients derived from pigs, dogs, dead animals, blood, and animals that were not slaughtered as per Islamic Sharia Law.

In my knowledge, Malaysia emphasizes on ‘Halal Beauty’ a lot and has the largest market for ‘halal cosmetics’ or ‘halal skincare’ at the moment. I also read it somewhere that the scholars of the Malaysian National Fatwa Council (MNFC) have issued a fatwa stating, “Use of all cosmetics and skincare products which contain ingredients from impure animals are haram for a Muslim.”

Things to note,

Halal Skincare or Halal Beauty Products does not mean a vegan product. Vegan products are all animal-derived ingredients and are made strictly from plants, minerals, and other safe synthetic ingredients. Where halal beauty products can have animal ingredients that are ‘halal’.

Anyhow,
Let’s talk about how I’ve been experiencing Orgga skincare products…

Orgga Rose Otto Nourishing Face Mist

Orgga Rose Otto Nourishing Face Mist

This Rose mist contains not only rose hydrosol but also aloe vera, a couple of berry extracts, pure rose oil, and few other natural goodnesses. It indeed feels nourishing and refreshing on the skin. As recommended I have used it with Lindo Beauty Oil and also alone. Love using it both ways.

To use the Rose Otto Face Mist with the Lindo Oil I spray a few spritzes right before the oil and then massage then into my skin together with the help of the Jade roller. Sometimes I do use my hands only and skip the roller. The mist thins down the oil a bit and helps the oil to get into my skin faster.

This face mist smells like all other regular rose face mist, I mean smells clean rose. The smell of it sorta reminds me of my other favorite rose mist by Melvita, in case you’ve tried that one! I really enjoy it using during a hot afternoon to hydrate my face. in fact, among three Orgga Skincare products, this Rose mist has become my top favorite.

Bacca Bliss Daily Cleansing Powder

Bacca Bliss Daily Cleansing Powder

Initially, I had the highest hope for this powder cleanser call Bacca Bliss thinking how much I like Wishtrend Green Tea Powder Facewash!

Bacca Bliss is a clay-based cleanser but also has a few types of flour in it. Those flour ingredients has an overpowering smell and I simply couldn’t like that. This Jar packaging of it also has an issue with its product dispense hole. Mine at least doesn’t dispense the powder through that whole. Every time I need to twist open the whole lid.

Would you like this much difficulties in the morning from a face wash?

Bacca Bliss Daily Cleansing Powder | Halal Skincare Brand in Malaysia

Orga claims this face wash to be a 3 in 1 product; Cleanser, Mild Exfoliator, and Face mask. As because it failed me as a cleanser I tried to use it as a face mask. Used it by mixing with the Rose Otto Face Mist and sometimes with my Soleil Toujours Aloe Antioxidant Calming Mist.

For me, Bacca Bliss works well as a mask, this way I could smell the flour in a tolerable way. Plus I could see the effects of clays in it. Kinda like my refreshed and supple skin after a DIY masking session with Orgga Bacca Bliss.

Lindo Luxe Beauty Oil by Orgga Skincare

Lindo Luxe Beauty Oil by Orgga Skincare

That’s why probably they say, don’t judge a skincare product without using it!

Being blunt, before using any of these Orgga Skincare products I had a minimum interest in this beauty oil. Since I gave Lindo beauty Oil a try my point of interest took a 90degree turn.

Lindo Luxe Beauty Oil by Orgga - Halal Skincare

Looking at the ingredient list of Lindo oil, it is a mixture of quite a number of skin-beneficial oils. Orgga product doesn’t have added fragrance in then yet this oil smells amazing. Texture-wise the oil is slightly on the thicker side compared to most of the beauty oils I’ve tried so far. Sorta reminds me of Tarte Marakhuja oil texture, maybe a tad less thick than that one though.

I’ve been using Lindo Beauty Oil, mostly, in my pm skincare routine and in a two different way.

The regular way is, I apply my targeted serum first. Right now using Murad Vitamin C Serum and then my Hada Labo Plus moisturizer. As the last step of applying skincare products, I will warm up the oil in my palm and then dab it on my face. It seals down all the other products I’ve applied before.

2ndly, after my toner I spray the Orgga Rose Mist (or any other mist that I’m trying right now) and put a few drops of Lindo Oil over the mist covering my face and neck. Then with the help of the Jade Roller massage my skin for a good 5 minutes or so. After that, I follow up with a moisturizer.

Either way, this oil has been feeling great on my skin. Every morning I wake up with soft and nourished skin and I definitely love it.

Orgga Jade Stone Face Roller

It’s a dual-sided face roller as you can see from all the pictures above with very decent quality to the stone. To compare, the weight of the whole Orgga Jade roller is identical to my Herbivore Jade Roller. The color of the Jade isn’t that like Herbivore though.

The major difference I found is my Herbivore face roller doesn’t create any funky noise (that clash between the metal attachment and the stone) while I roll it on my face but Orgga Jade Roller does. Otherwise, It does all the job a Jade Roller would do.

Orgga Jade Roller priced at 90rm where a Herbivore one costs 130rm. Would you consider the noise fact of it looking at the price you’ll pay?

My overall experience with Orgga Skincare isn’t really bad. Love their simplistic packaging and straightforward products however, I think they are a bit on the pricy side. If you’re a fan of natural skincare products then you’ll definitely like Orgga.

Shopping Info:

Orgga Jade Stone Face Roller | 90rm
Lindo Luxe Beauty Oil by Orgga Skincare | 110rm for 20ml
Bacca Bliss Daily Cleansing Powder | 69rm for 50g jar
Rose Otto Nourishing Face Mist | 60rm

Vitamin C skincare for pregnant skin – Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum & Essential C Day Moisture | Murad Environmental Shield

4

Just emptied one bottle of the Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum and started another. I really like this vitamin C infused serum from Murad’s Environmental Shield skincare range. A couple of years back I was introduced to this and since my bond is solid with this Murad Spot Correcting Serum.

Also trying out the Essential C Day Moisture for the 2nd time. It’s a different experience this time because I’ve been usin1g this with the Rapid Spot Correcting Serum.

Vitamin C skincare for pregnant skin - Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum & Essential C Day Moisture | Murad Environmental Shield

You’ve noticed it right! This year I’ve been going big on Vitamin C skin care products.

Usually, I like retinol products way more than Vitamin C in my skincare. But my pregnancy made me avoid retinol for a while. And so that’s how every Vitamin C skincare product is now a big part of my skincare routine. It’s not only about vitamin C in my skincare routine but also my trust in Murad Skincare products. They never failed me before and I trust this brand for a sensitive time like pregnancy as well.

Keep reading to know my experience with both of these Vitamin C products from the Murad Environmental Shield Range. PS: Both of them are formulated without Gluten, Parabens, Sulfates, and Hydroquinone.

Murad Environmental Shield Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum

Murad Environmental Shield Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum

Do you remember what I said about Murad Retinol Serum in my previous post?

Murad Environmental Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum makes me feel the vitamin-C version of Murad Youth Renewal Retinol Serum instead of retinol. Although Murad claims a fast action, however, the serum works on my skin in a slow-and-steady way.

Murad claims that their three key ingredients AKA Murad’s NHP – 3 technology (Niacinamide, Hexylresorcinol, and Plankton Extract) is proven to even out skin tone reduce key signs of aging.

  • Niacinamide – enhances cell turnover to visibly reduce the appearance of dark spots.
  • Hexylresorcinol – minimizes the damage that can lead to future discoloration and reduces the appearance of age signs.
  • Plankton Extract – an Encapsulated blend of green and brown microalgae that visibly dissolves dark spots to revitalize the skin’s natural tone.

Ingredients of Murad Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum:

Water/Aqua/Eau, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Butylene Glycol, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hexylresorcinol, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Hexapeptide-2, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Yeast Extract, Plankton Extract, Soy Amino Acids, Lecithin, Squalane, Dimethicone, Urea, Yeast Amino Acids, Trehalose, Inositol, Taurine, Betaine, Sodium PCA, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Polysorbate 60, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Benzotriazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Hydroxide, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance(Parfum), Limonene, Red 4 (CI 14700), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)

Apart from vitamin-c but Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum is made of Oligopeptides and has subtle light-reflecting pearls in it that makes the skin look plumped radiant almost instantly.

Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum | Murad Environmental Shield

my experience with Murad (Rapid Age Spot Correcting) Vitamin C serum:

This is one luxurious Vitamin C serum that I really and simply enjoy using. I go through every bottle of this serum super fast. When I have this serum I literally don’t feel like to use anything else, like it this much. I also like the packaging of it very much.

Texture-wise this serum is a lightweight cream like serum infused with pearls (as mentioned before). It goes underneath any moisturizer very well. Skin feels plumped, nourished and radiant but not sticky after every use.

The serum really works on uneven skin tone and dullness when I use it religiously. don’t expect a super-fast, seven or ten-day result. A before and after picture with a 4/6 months gap might show the visible effect I believe. Right now my skin is going through all that pregnancy Jazz; for example, the pregnancy mask, dryness, sensitivity and sometimes over oiliness. Murad Environmental Shield Vitamin C Serum has been maintaining my skin tome, age signs and dullness pretty well.

This is a serum for all skin type and I also like using it any time of the day. I just take care of my sun protection for day time as because it has these ingredients like Vitamin C and Niacinamide.

Murad Environmental Shield Essential-C Day Moisture [Broad Spectrum SPF 30 | PA+++]

Vitamin C skincare for pregnant skin - Essential C Day Moisture | Murad Environmental Shield

With vitamin C, niacinamide and all that jazz there comes the need for SPF protection. Isn’t it awesome when your moisturizer comes with the right amount of sun protection and saves the effort and time of using a separate sunscreen? I swear by a moisturizer with SPF especially for when I’m staying at home during the day.

Essential-C Day Moisture is the all-in-one day moisturizer that has Vitamin-C and also SPF 30, PA +++ in it. The best part it’s not sticky and filled with antioxidants.

Ingredients of Essential-C™ Day Moisture

Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Cocoglycerides, Diisopropyl Sebacate, Glyceryl Stearate, Lauryl Lactate, PEG-100 Stearate, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Aminomethyl Propanol, Pelvetia Canaliculata Extract, Ectoin, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Passiflora Incarnata Extract, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Sodium PCA, Panthenol, Tripleurospermum Maritima Extract, Sodium Myristoyl Sarcosinate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phospholipids, Retinyl Palmitate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Chitosan Ascorbate, Betaine, Sorbitol, Glycine, Alanine, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Arginine, Lysine, Glutamic Acid, Zinc Gluconate, Ethyl Linoleate, Cetyl Phosphate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance (Parfum), Yellow 6 (CI 15985), Red 33 (CI 17200)

Like all Murad’s Environmental Shield skincare products this Essential-C moisturizer also protects the skin from UV rays and free radical damage. It feels lightweight on the skin and does not give any white cast or such. It helps to maintain radiant skin even if I use it with the Environmental Shield Vitamin C Serum or not.

Shopping Info:

1. Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum (30mL) | 458RM
2. Essential-C™ Day Moisture Broad Spectrum (50mL) | 338RM
* Vibrant Vibes Limited edition holiday set (Both together in full size) | 498RM

Available at Murad Malaysia stores and online. You might also find them at Sephora although I don’t know why Sephora Malaysia is usually very poor at Murad product collection.

Have you tried any of these products? Share your experience with me.

There is this another sunscreen by Murad I really like called City Skin Age Defence, read all about that here.

Hada Labo+ Skincare Range | Hydrating skin solution formulated for sensitive skin

0

Yes, ye read the title right. It is Hada Labo Plus, a new Hydrating Hada Labo Skincare Range, especially for sensitive skin. Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating range offers Face Wash, Lotion, Milk and Moisturizing Cream.

This new Hada Labo Plus range formulated with a triple-protection formula to strengthen and restore the skin balance. However, just like all other Hada Labo products, the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating range also contains Hadalabo’s signature ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid, that penetrates deep into the skin to intensely hydrate and restore the skin’s moisture.

This new Hada Labo+ Skincare Range is pH balanced and free from fragrance, colorant, alcohol and mineral oil.

Let me tell you how I’m experiencing Hada Labo+ Skincare Range, the face wash, lotion, skin milk, and the moisturizer…

Hada Labo says that their triple protection formula works in the three areas below,

  • These HadaLabo+ skincare products Contain Lecithin, Squalene and Shea Butter that creates an invisible bionic liquid crystal as a protective film to protect the skin against environmental pollutants.
  • They also contain Phytosterols and Ceramide that help the skin to smooth, soften as well as strengthen and repair the skin barrier.
  • Contained Alpha Bisabolol and Gingerol work effectively to calm the skin as well as soothe irritation and redness.

You might think, I’ve got a combination skin type then why did I opted for a skincare range that is formulated for sensitive skin?

– I’m pregnant and my skin hasn’t been the same as before. I’ve got that pregnancy mask thingy on my face already and I felt now a skincare range that is focused on hydration and sensitivity would be best for me.

Hada Labo+ Lotion For Sensitive Skin:

Hada Labo plus Lotion and DIY Sheet Mask

All Hada Labo Lotion, including this Sensitive Hydrating one, works fantastic as a moisturizing toner AKA the first step of skincare. I’ve been trying out Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Tonic lately so been using this Hadalabo Lotion a bit differently.

I’ve been using this Hada Labo Plus Lotion as the key ingredient of my DIY Sheet Mask and it has been working amazing for me. Let me know if you want me to write an article describing how I do my DIY sheet making ritual. I would love to share as always.

Hada Labo Plus Milk:

I’ve been using Hada Labo+ Milk mostly when I’m using a face oil. I like to use any beauty oil [currently using Orgga LINDO Luxe Oil, in case if you’re curious] as the last step of my skincare and to seal off all other skincare products I’ve applied prior to the oil.

Hada Labo Milks are usually very moisturizing and almost close to a moisturizer. Therefore I usually skip a moisturizer when I use Hada Labo Milk. Been doing the same for this one as well. Despite my personal habit, this Skin Milk is full-on shea butter and ceramide so I don’t necessarily need to worry about my skin moisture level.

As I’m trying to remember my previous experience with all other Hada Labo Milk this Sensitive Hydrating Milk has been feeling the best for my skin so far! I absolutely love its non-oily formula and no-fragrance type. It soothes the skin with no time.

Sensitive Hydrating Face Wash by Hada Labo Plus:

hadalabo+ face wash for sensitive skin

This is a creamy and milky face wash that doesn’t later up much. leaves skin refreshed and nourished after every use. Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating is the type of face wash that I always prefer because it pairs with my FOREO LUNA 2 cleansing device perfectly.

One thing to keep in mind that Hada Labo Plus Face Wash has a soap-free formula so it gives the skin a gentle cleanse.

Hada Labo+ Moisturizing Cream For Sensitive Skin:

Hada Labo+ Moisturizer for sensitive skin

This moisturizing cream is literally the STAR product of this range. After a long time, I felt that this jar of a drugstore moisturizer has every quality of a high-end moisturizer! Damn, Hada Labo should definitely sponsor me for praising this much haha. Anyhow, sponsored or not I always love to be honest with my statement.

Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating cream is completely oil-free and refreshingly lightweight on the skin. The texture of it feels velvety smooth, almost like a gel moisturizer. But for the hydrating effect of this cream, it actually feels better than a gel moisturizer.

I believe regardless you have sensitive skin or not anyone, except dry skin, who like a non-sticky day to night cream will enjoy this moisturizer for sure.

To conclude my experience with HadaLabo+ skincare range,

I’m enjoying all four of the product from this range. In fact, I won’t hesitate to say that this ‘PLUS’ range is simply turned out the best for my skin among all other Hada Labo Skincare I’ve used before.

My top favorite is no doubt the Hada Labo+ moisturizer. A while ago one of my readers was asking recommendations for a moisturizer that can be used both day and night. This Hada Labo+ moisturizer is certainly the answer if you have the same question.

Plus, I would happily state the Hada Labo+ skincare range as a pregnancy-safe skincare line. Tried and tested guys. Been almost one and half month using these being pregnant without any bits of skin irritation.

This is how (picture above) my fresh box of Korean skincare came in from Wishtrend! For the disclaimer, I’ve handpicked myself two of the products that I wanted to try.

  1. Klairs Midning Blue Calming Cream
    – did you remember how I like the KLAIRS Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask and KLAIRS Supple Preparation Toner? I’ve also tried the Supple preparation cream earlier and a lot of sample sachet of this Midnight Blue Calming Cream. Trying it on full size was always in my mind so finally, this time had to grab one.
  2. By Wishtrend Polyphenols 15% Ampoule
    – I’m sure I don’t need to talk more about By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water and Pure Vitamin C 21.5 Advanced Serum. Since the Polyphenols 15% ampoule release, I had it in my ‘things to try list’. I really like By Wishtrend skincare products for their fast action.

Along with I’m From Rice toner, the rest of the product here is gifted by Wishtrend. The rice toner is something quite new to me. It’s been long I haven’t tried anything-not-acid type toner. Where the sound of 77.78% Rice Extract in I’m From toner is definitely intriguing.

Last but not least, yes, a few new sheet masks to try as well and that always excites me.

However, I’m perplexed thinking which one I should try first among all these fresh Korean skincare products. Help me out guys and I shall post my review on the product I try, accordingly.

Have you ever asked yourself what causes hair loss?

Hair loss can be caused by numerous factors, for example, a poor diet, hormonal changes, psychological distress, effects of medication, wrong hair products, and so on.

Research says that hair loss can happen when more follicles than normal go from the Anagen phase (growing phase) to the Catagen phase (transition phase) and when these hairs reach the Exogen phase (shedding phase), the hair will appear thinner.

The Telogen phase (resting phase) takes place right after the Catagen phase and it is during this phase that new hair grows beneath the existing hair before it sheds. The Telogen phase lasts between three to four months.

Therefore, it is important that we ensure proper nourishment on the hair scalp during the Anagen phase to promote thicker and stronger hair.

50Megumi Hair Loss Treatment review

What is this Hair Loss Treatment Essence by 50Megumi?

Just how it named, it’s an essence for hair. Before trying it out I thought this treatment will be something oil. I’m happy that it’s not oily but it has water-like consistency. The thin consistency of the treatment essence absorbs instantly into the scalp and hair.

The essence also smells sorta citrusy and refreshing but that’s very mild.

This 50 Megumi hair treatment essence works as a leave-in-treatment. It can be applied at any time of the day or night.

How to use 50 Megumi Anti Hair Loss Treatment?

I mostly like it using after a shower or before bed. The point-drop bottle of 50 Megumi hair essence makes it so handy to dispense the essence directly in the hair root. After saturating my hair roots I massage my whole scalp for a couple of minutes and I’m good to go.

My scalp feels nicely cooling and refreshing with no greasiness after the application. In fact, I’m kinda obsessed with the cooling effect 50 Megumi hair essence gives. When I use it before bed my whole brain feels calmed down and I surely sleep better with it on.

How 50 Megumi Hair Essence worked for my hair?

This hair essence is suggested to use twice daily for four months to notice any visible result. I’ve been using it for a month now but not really twice a day. Assuming my 160ml bottle will last another 15 days or so.

Before use, I didn’t have a hair fall issue, fortunately. Currently, I’m on prenatal vitamins so I hardly notice any hair in my hairbrush in days! Considering these facts I can’t say if it was working to prevent hair loss. However, my hair is luscious at the moment even with all my hair coloring craziness!

Moreover, I absolutely love how it feels. I love the fact that it helps me sleep. I love that this doesn’t make my hair greasy.

The only drawback, this hair essence is, no doubt, quite expensive. Then again if you want to invest in a hair loss treatment essence 50 Megumi won’t be bad. I myself trust Japanese formulas 😉
