Hada Labo+ Skincare Range | Hydrating skin solution formulated for sensitive skin

0

Yes, ye read the title right. It is Hada Labo Plus, a new Hydrating Hada Labo Skincare Range, especially for sensitive skin. Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating range offers Face Wash, Lotion, Milk and Moisturizing Cream.

This new Hada Labo Plus range formulated with a triple-protection formula to strengthen and restore the skin balance. However, just like all other Hada Labo products, the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating range also contains Hadalabo’s signature ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid, that penetrates deep into the skin to intensely hydrate and restore the skin’s moisture.

This new Hada Labo+ Skincare Range is pH balanced and free from fragrance, colorant, alcohol and mineral oil.

Let me tell you how I’m experiencing Hada Labo+ Skincare Range, the face wash, lotion, skin milk, and the moisturizer…

Hada Labo says that their triple protection formula works in the three areas below,

  • These HadaLabo+ skincare products Contain Lecithin, Squalene and Shea Butter that creates an invisible bionic liquid crystal as a protective film to protect the skin against environmental pollutants.
  • They also contain Phytosterols and Ceramide that help the skin to smooth, soften as well as strengthen and repair the skin barrier.
  • Contained Alpha Bisabolol and Gingerol work effectively to calm the skin as well as soothe irritation and redness.

You might think, I’ve got a combination skin type then why did I opted for a skincare range that is formulated for sensitive skin?

– I’m pregnant and my skin hasn’t been the same as before. I’ve got that pregnancy mask thingy on my face already and I felt now a skincare range that is focused on hydration and sensitivity would be best for me.

Hada Labo+ Lotion For Sensitive Skin:

Hada Labo plus Lotion and DIY Sheet Mask

All Hada Labo Lotion, including this Sensitive Hydrating one, works fantastic as a moisturizing toner AKA the first step of skincare. I’ve been trying out Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Tonic lately so been using this Hadalabo Lotion a bit differently.

I’ve been using this Hada Labo Plus Lotion as the key ingredient of my DIY Sheet Mask and it has been working amazing for me. Let me know if you want me to write an article describing how I do my DIY sheet making ritual. I would love to share as always.

Hada Labo Plus Milk:

I’ve been using Hada Labo+ Milk mostly when I’m using a face oil. I like to use any beauty oil [currently using Orgga LINDO Luxe Oil, in case if you’re curious] as the last step of my skincare and to seal off all other skincare products I’ve applied prior to the oil.

Hada Labo Milks are usually very moisturizing and almost close to a moisturizer. Therefore I usually skip a moisturizer when I use Hada Labo Milk. Been doing the same for this one as well. Despite my personal habit, this Skin Milk is full-on shea butter and ceramide so I don’t necessarily need to worry about my skin moisture level.

As I’m trying to remember my previous experience with all other Hada Labo Milk this Sensitive Hydrating Milk has been feeling the best for my skin so far! I absolutely love its non-oily formula and no-fragrance type. It soothes the skin with no time.

Sensitive Hydrating Face Wash by Hada Labo Plus:

hadalabo+ face wash for sensitive skin

This is a creamy and milky face wash that doesn’t later up much. leaves skin refreshed and nourished after every use. Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating is the type of face wash that I always prefer because it pairs with my FOREO LUNA 2 cleansing device perfectly.

One thing to keep in mind that Hada Labo Plus Face Wash has a soap-free formula so it gives the skin a gentle cleanse.

Hada Labo+ Moisturizing Cream For Sensitive Skin:

Hada Labo+ Moisturizer for sensitive skin

This moisturizing cream is literally the STAR product of this range. After a long time, I felt that this jar of a drugstore moisturizer has every quality of a high-end moisturizer! Damn, Hada Labo should definitely sponsor me for praising this much haha. Anyhow, sponsored or not I always love to be honest with my statement.

Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating cream is completely oil-free and refreshingly lightweight on the skin. The texture of it feels velvety smooth, almost like a gel moisturizer. But for the hydrating effect of this cream, it actually feels better than a gel moisturizer.

I believe regardless you have sensitive skin or not anyone, except dry skin, who like a non-sticky day to night cream will enjoy this moisturizer for sure.

To conclude my experience with HadaLabo+ skincare range,

I’m enjoying all four of the product from this range. In fact, I won’t hesitate to say that this ‘PLUS’ range is simply turned out the best for my skin among all other Hada Labo Skincare I’ve used before.

My top favorite is no doubt the Hada Labo+ moisturizer. A while ago one of my readers was asking recommendations for a moisturizer that can be used both day and night. This Hada Labo+ moisturizer is certainly the answer if you have the same question.

Plus, I would happily state the Hada Labo+ skincare range as a pregnancy-safe skincare line. Tried and tested guys. Been almost one and half month using these being pregnant without any bits of skin irritation.

wishtrend korean skincare haul

This is how (picture above) my fresh box of Korean skincare came in from Wishtrend! For the disclaimer, I’ve handpicked myself two of the products that I wanted to try.

  1. Klairs Midning Blue Calming Cream
    – did you remember how I like the KLAIRS Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask and KLAIRS Supple Preparation Toner? I’ve also tried the Supple preparation cream earlier and a lot of sample sachet of this Midnight Blue Calming Cream. Trying it on full size was always in my mind so finally, this time had to grab one.
  2. By Wishtrend Polyphenols 15% Ampoule
    – I’m sure I don’t need to talk more about By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water and Pure Vitamin C 21.5 Advanced Serum. Since the Polyphenols 15% ampoule release, I had it in my ‘things to try list’. I really like By Wishtrend skincare products for their fast action.
Klairs midnight blue calming cream | Wishtrend

Along with I’m From Rice toner, the rest of the product here is gifted by Wishtrend. The rice toner is something quite new to me. It’s been long I haven’t tried anything-not-acid type toner. Where the sound of 77.78% Rice Extract in I’m From toner is definitely intriguing.

Last but not least, yes, a few new sheet masks to try as well and that always excites me.

However, I’m perplexed thinking which one I should try first among all these fresh Korean skincare products. Help me out guys and I shall post my review on the product I try, accordingly.

50 MEGUMI Anti Hair Loss Treatment Essence | Don’t only prevent hair loss but also re-gain hair volume!

0

Does the title sound a tad cheesy to you? I didn’t make it up but this is how 50 MEGUMI Anti Hair Loss Treatment Essence promises to work. To simplify, when you’ll have no hair loss then you’ll definitely have more hair on your head. Therefore your hair will look voluminous! Isn’t it?

Last month I got introduced to the 50 Megumi Anti Hair Loss Treatment. They also have two variants of shampoo and conditioner in their Anti Hair Loss range. The famous Japanese brand Rohto Pharmaceutical is the mother brand of 50 Megumi. The formula of 50 Megumi claims to reduce hair loss and recover hair volume with its 50 precious natural herbal ingredients.

50 Megumi Anti Hair Loss Treatment Essence

Key ingredients of 50 Megumi Anti Hair Loss Treatment Essence are…

  • Panax Ginseng and Ginger root extract to strengthen hair roots
  • Swertia Japonica extract to protect against hair fall
  • Hydrolyzed Collagen to prolong the hair life cycle
  • Natural orange and lemon extract to enhance deep penetration into the scalp

The other vital ingredients are Shea Butter, Macadamia Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Pine Cone Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Sunflower Seed Oil, Seaweed Extract, Caffeine, Pueraria Root Extract, Rosemary Extract, and Jojoba Oil. All of these ingredients of 50 Megumi Anti Hair Loss Treatment work together to also helps prevents hair loss.

50 Megumi Hair Loss Treatment Essence

Have you ever asked yourself what causes hair loss?

Hair loss can be caused by numerous factors, for example, a poor diet, hormonal changes, psychological distress, effects of medication, wrong hair products, and so on.

Research says that hair loss can happen when more follicles than normal go from the Anagen phase (growing phase) to the Catagen phase (transition phase) and when these hairs reach the Exogen phase (shedding phase), the hair will appear thinner.

The Telogen phase (resting phase) takes place right after the Catagen phase and it is during this phase that new hair grows beneath the existing hair before it sheds. The Telogen phase lasts between three to four months.

Therefore, it is important that we ensure proper nourishment on the hair scalp during the Anagen phase to promote thicker and stronger hair.

50Megumi Hair Loss Treatment review

What is this Hair Loss Treatment Essence by 50Megumi?

Just how it named, it’s an essence for hair. Before trying it out I thought this treatment will be something oil. I’m happy that it’s not oily but it has water-like consistency. The thin consistency of the treatment essence absorbs instantly into the scalp and hair.

The essence also smells sorta citrusy and refreshing but that’s very mild.

This 50 Megumi hair treatment essence works as a leave-in-treatment. It can be applied at any time of the day or night.

How to use 50 Megumi Anti Hair Loss Treatment?

I mostly like it using after a shower or before bed. The point-drop bottle of 50 Megumi hair essence makes it so handy to dispense the essence directly in the hair root. After saturating my hair roots I massage my whole scalp for a couple of minutes and I’m good to go.

My scalp feels nicely cooling and refreshing with no greasiness after the application. In fact, I’m kinda obsessed with the cooling effect 50 Megumi hair essence gives. When I use it before bed my whole brain feels calmed down and I surely sleep better with it on.

How 50 Megumi Hair Essence worked for my hair?

This hair essence is suggested to use twice daily for four months to notice any visible result. I’ve been using it for a month now but not really twice a day. Assuming my 160ml bottle will last another 15 days or so.

Before use, I didn’t have a hair fall issue, fortunately. Currently, I’m on prenatal vitamins so I hardly notice any hair in my hairbrush in days! Considering these facts I can’t say if it was working to prevent hair loss. However, my hair is luscious at the moment even with all my hair coloring craziness!

Moreover, I absolutely love how it feels. I love the fact that it helps me sleep. I love that this doesn’t make my hair greasy.

The only drawback, this hair essence is, no doubt, quite expensive. Then again if you want to invest in a hair loss treatment essence 50 Megumi won’t be bad. I myself trust Japanese formulas 😉

Natural & Organic Noughty Haircare | Pumped Up Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner

1

Last month I got introduced to Noughty Haircare. This UK haircare brand is spreading its wings here in Malaysia from this month of October’19. This British haircare brand, Noughty, is 97% natural, organic, cruelty-free as well as very feminine to look at.

Noughty Haircare is offering 4 types of hair products at the moment in Malaysia.

  • Pumped Up
  • To The Rescue
  • Care Taker
  • 1 Hit Wonder

I picked up Pumped Up Shampoo & Conditioner. Pumped UP haircare range is volumizing and especially for fine/limp hair. By the way, Noughty Haircare has more variety of shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment, etc available on their UK website.

If you were reading GreenStory ‘Hair’ category for a while now then you know that I have got a very fine hair, texturewise. My hair often tends to lay flat which I don’t like at all. Which is why I usually prefer ‘volumizing’ quality in my hair care routine.

Noughty Haircare Pumped Up Shampoo and Conditioner claim to leave hair feeling thicker, fuller & with added volume. It also claims to help hair to be bouncy and moisturized with a soft and silky feel.

My experience with Noughty Shampoo & Conditioner:

I find the color and texture of both shampoo and conditioner to be fairly mundane. Plain white color with a sweet-fruity and refreshing fragrance in them. Only, I feel the conditioner is slightly thinner than a regular conditioner.

Both of the product glides on my wet hair nicely. The shampoo cleanses up my oily scalp very nicely and I do feel a bit of lift on my hair when it’s dry.

I noticed that for Noughty Pumped Up Volumising Conditioner I need a little more than the regular amount to condition my hair properly. Thus I running out of the conditioner way faster than the Noughty Pumped Up Volumising Shampoo.

Does that ‘need a little more’ amount of conditioner matter to me? Not really! I’ve been actually loving how it conditions and nourishes my hair with every use.

Noughty Pumped Up Volumising Conditioner

In case, if you’re interested to know,

Ingredients of Noughty Pumped Up Shampoo:

Aqua, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Parfum (Fragrance), Laureth-7 Citrate, DMDM Hydantoin, Disodium EDTA, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Coco-Glucoside, Lauryl Betaine, Glycol Distearate, Panthenol, Sodium Benzoate, Polyquaternium-6, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Juice, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Oil, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Leaf Oil, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, Potassium Sorbate, Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Extract, Garcinia Mangostana Fruit Extract, Passiflora Incarnata Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate, Linalool, Geraniol.

Ingredients of Noughty Pumped Up Conditioner:

Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Behentrimonium Chloride, Coco-Caprylate, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Cetrimonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum (Fragrance), Isopropyl Alcohol, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, Panthenol, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Juice, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Oil, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Leaf Oil, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, Potassium Sorbate, Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate, Linalool.

Noughty Pumped Up Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner

Is Noughty Haircare anything good for my colored hair?

…didn’t find anything bad either! Noughty Shampoo and Conditioner both have been acting fair enough for my hair color.

I have got a semi-permanent hair dye in my hair. With Pumped Up Shampoo my hair color washes out in a very regular manner. I felt the Pumped Up conditioner somewhat gives my hair a tad of shine with the use.

Overall, I’m surely liking Noughty Haircare for my hair at the moment. I wish Noughty had color protecting hair products available here in Malaysia. Give them a try if you’re looking for some fresh hair care.

Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic, Retinol Tonic, Rose Tonic Or Vitamin C Tonic – Which Pixi Tonic Is The Best For Combination Skin?

2

Pixi Tonic AKA skin toner by Pixi Beauty has been one of the most hyped product among the skincare lovers for the past years. I’m sure you guys are also aware of these Pixi Beauty tonics as well. I’ve started using my first Pixi beauty Glow tonic from 2016 as far as I can remember! In the beginning, Pixi Beauty had only the Glow Tonic and then they expanded their tonic range. So far I’ve used their Retinol Tonic, Rose Tonic or Vitamin C Tonic along with the Glow Tonic, of course!

Do you wonder how these Skintreats tonics worked and turned out the best on my combination skin?

– Keep reading to know my experience with all of them and you’ll find your answer as well.

Pixi Beauty Retinol Tonic

retinol tonic for combination skin | pixibeauty

Let’s talk about the Retinol Tonic first. A toner infused with retinol is a very unique thing considering there isn’t much retinol toner available in the market. Since I got used to the ingredient retinol for my skin any skincare product with retinol highly attracts me.

Pixi Beauty describes the toner as “containing a time-release Retinol to help rejuvenate the skin for a natural glow. Powerful antioxidants and botanicals replenish the skin for a smoother, softer appearance while soothing sensitive skin.”

I got my first Pixi Beauty retinol tonic from iherb because back then this particular toner wasn’t available in Sephora Malaysia.

Pixi Retinol tonic is purple-ish in color to look at and the percentage of retinol is not mentioned in the ingredient list. The toner smells medicine-like but not anything overpowering in my experience. It feels watery to use and absorbs quickly. I use it in my pm skincare routine.

I’ve been using retinol products for a long time now. From my experience, I felt this toner has a very minimum amount of retinol in it. Thus the effect of this toner is not identical as well specially when this is the only retinol infused product within a full skincare regimen.

In my opinion, Pixi Beauty Retinol Tonic is a good option if you want everything retinol in your skincare regimen. This toner is also a good option if you just want to start with retinol skincare product. Because it’s not anything harsh to the skin or so but very gentle on the skin.

Moisturizing Rose Tonic

pixi beauty rose tonic | pixi beauty skintreats

Rose Tonic is the most gentle and moisturizing toner among all the Pixi tonic I’ve used. I could use it any time of the day. This one is Rosey in color and has a fresh scent of rose water.

Pixi says about their Rose Tonic, “Naturally soothing and rich in nutrients, this tonic helps to tone, balance pH, minimize redness and calm skin. Re-hydrates, replenishes and refreshes.

During my use, any visual skin change wasn’t there but my skin always felt refreshed and conditioned after the use. I believe this rose Tonic is suitable for all skin types and for all the age group.

If you are up to a simpler skincare routine then Pixi Rose Tonic will the most suitable toner for you.

Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic

pixi beauty glow tonic review

Ever since I started using Glow Tonic I wanted to write about it. Although you might have noticed me talking about this because I did share quick thoughts in my social media. I’m happy to finally write about it!

What is this Glow Tonic?

– Pixi Glow Tonic is an exfoliating toner that has 5% Glycolic Acid in it.

I like to use two types of toner in my skincare; a normal hydrating type in my morning skincare and an exfoliating toner in my nighttime skincare. For example, Rose tonic with Glow Tonic was in my morning-night skincare rotation for quite sometimes. I actually liked the combination of this two for my skin. However, you can certainly use the Glow Tonic in your daytime skincare regimen.

Pixi Glow tonic worked on me very well. It helps to maintain a cleared skin with unclogged pores. If you start with a dull skin then you’ll notice a visible change within a few weeks or so. My skin feels breathable after every use. I also like how it smells, something very unique and kinda became my favorite over the years of use.

Regular skin exfoliation always improves skin tone and skin texture. However, an exfoliating toner only is not the way to get rid of any dark spot or pigmentation.

Wondering How would I rate Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic?

I’ve used quite a few Glycolic Acid toners so far. The Alpha-H Liquid Gold, a must mention, the best in my experience. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid(7%) Toner is my least favored. Here is something to note, I’m not mixing Glycolic acid with my other favorite toners.

Considering the price and effectiveness I bought Glow Tonic over and over. In fact, this is the one Pixi Beauty Skintreats that I’m a loyal customer of!

Vitamin C Tonic by Pixi Skintreats

vitamin c tonic for combination skin

Vitamin-C Toner, who wouldn’t like the sound of it? Vitamin C Tonic is fairly new in Pixi Strantreats and also new in my skincare regimen. It contains Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid in it however ingredient list doesn’t mention a percentage.

I’m a fan of the lemony scent of Pixi Vitamin C Tonic. The orangy look of it somewhat feels good on my vanity as well. It’s very nourishing on the skin, feels similar to the Rose Tonic. I’ve been using Sunday Riley CEO Glow Vitamin C face oil lately and I think Pixi Vitamin C tonic is going pretty well with it. Also, I’m liking it for am or pm both of my skincare routine.

To conclude my thoughts on Pixi tonics,

they all are great for the price and the way they work for my combination skin type. I reach for Pixi toners more than the other options available in the market because these feel safer for any skin condition. As mentioned before, the Glow Tonic is my top favorite and the Retinol Tonic is something I would choose as my 2nd favorite.

Have you tried these Pixi Beauty Skinteats? Which one is your favorite? Or, do you have any other favorite exfoliating toner that you would like to recommend?

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser | Glycerin-based Formula & My Thoughts!

0

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser has been always there in the market but just recently they came up with an upgraded formula. This Neutrogena face wash is based on glycerin to ensure maximum skin hydration. This face wash gives a deep clean by removing dirt, excess oil and dead skin cell while keeping the moisture level intact.

When it comes to drugstore skincare I Neutrogena is always a trustworthy name for me. Just like other Neutrogena products I’ve tried before, been enjoying trying out this reformulated Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser as well.

Ingredients of Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser:

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser review

Glycerin, Water, Myristic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Potassium Hydroxide, Lauric Acid, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Beewax, Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, o-Cymen-5-ol, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate.

Neutrogena’s focal point of this Foaming Cleanser is to save the skin from a busy city environment that consists of micro-pollutants like Particulate Matter (PM). According to Neutrogena PM2.5 is one of the biggest skin enemies that penetrates through the skin causing serious health issue.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser claims to remove 99.9% of dirt and impurities from the skin.

How Neutrogena Foaming Cleanser Worked?

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser | New & Upgraded Formula

Tube packaging is very common for most of the drugstore cream facewash. This face wash also comes in an easy-to-use regular tube just like others.

Neutrogena Deep Clean face wash has a smooth texture. It lathers up to a rich and creamy foam. I’ve been using it morning or night anytime I need to wash my face. It feels completely oil-free on the skin. Also, the face wash gives a squeaky clean face after the use.

I love the fact that this Neutrogena face wash doesn’t dry out the skin or irritate the skin by any means. While using I can feel the effect of its moisturizing fact ‘Glycerin’ in it!

Shopping info:

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser | RM 19.90 for 100g tube.
Available at all drugstore/pharmacies nationwide. Fore more information Neutrogena’s official website.

Murad Resurgence Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel | 10 days challenge & result!

0

Murad just introduced Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel in their Resurgence Skincare line. It is a new skin-resurfacing formula by Dr. Murad. This Multi-acid Peel claims to be a daily bi-phase peel that accelerates cell renewal by 33% in just 7 days. If you’re reading GreenStory for a long time then you know I’m a fan of Murad skincare. As soon as I heard about this new product I had to accept this time-bound challenge of it.

I took a 10 days challenge with Murad Resurgence Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel within my daily pm skincare routine. Keep reading to know to this Murad Multi-Acid peel worked for me!

Murad Resurgence Multi Acid Peel Review

What is this Murad Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel?

This is an oil-based peeling liquid that offers a combination of multi-level exfoliation. Murad Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel is very much suitable for mature skin (hie, 30 plus blogger here!) especially to boost the cell regeneration by also giving intense nourishment.

Resurgence Acid Peel by Murad Skincare Review by GreenStory

Key Ingredients of Murad Multi-Acid Peel

  • AHA (Glycolic, Lactic, and Malic Acid): Builds skin elasticity, hydration level and visible plumpness of the skin to quickly reveal a fresher appearance.
  • BHA (Salicylic Acid): Normalizes cell regeneration and penetrates oil to keep skin clear of pore-clogging.
  • TXA (Tranexamic Acid): A medicinal amino acid long-known in dermatology for its use in treating pigment disorders. Used topically it revives dull skin
    and evens tone.
  • Apoptogenic Holy Basil Oil: An apoptogenic herb, rich in triterpenes and polyphenols. It help skin resist oxidative stress and irritation while building the skin’s innate defenses and restore balance.
  • Soothing Lipids: Replenishing omega fatty acids, sterols and bisabolol intensely nourish, soothe and refortify the skin barrier.

Murad Multi-acid Peel is completely cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and animal-derived ingredients.

Murad Repleneshing Acid Peel Review

How to use this Multi-Acid Peel?

This Multi-acid peeling serum is for nighttime skincare routine as because it contains all those acids in it. Shake the bottle well enough before use so that the oil and other water-like formula mixed together. Dispense generous amount onto a cotton pad and sweep over the face, neck, and chest. Do not rinse. Follow up with your regular skincare.

Slight tingling sensation on the skin is normal, but reduce frequency if your skin goes way too sensitive. Do not forget to use a sunscreen during the day.

I’ve been using this multi-acid peel right after cleansing my face. And then I was going over with Melvita Youthfull Argan Serum Lotion or I would spray a few spritzes of Fresh Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water to soothe my skin down.

Although Murad highly recommends Nutrient Charged Water Gel as the moisturizer to use with Resurgence Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel. However, I was using Fresh Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask for this 10days challenge.

After an hour or two I was going over with Sunday Riley CEO Glow Vitamin C face oil as the last step of my pm skincare routine. Some people don’t like to layer AHA/BHA with Vitamin C. I do enjoy layering acid with Vitamin C and it also works well for me.

How Murad Multi-Acid Peel Works?

The blend of AHA/BHA/TXA acids of Murad Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel retexturizes and renew skin cells. In result, skin appears smoother, brighter and young-looking.

Remember I talked about TXA acid a bit in details in my previous Hadalabo Premium Lotion article? This is a really interesting acid to even out the skin tone effectively. Give that post a read if you want to know about Tranexamic Acid a bit more.

Contained holy basil oil is full of antioxidants, and omega factor that defends and strengthen skin’s surface for a young and healthier-looking glowing vibrant complexion.

The Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel by Murad is quite powerful to give visible results but also gentle enough for daily use.

My experience with Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel:

Murad Resurgence Multi Acid Peel Review with before-after picture
Do you notice the difference in my before and after picture? I’m sure you do!

I was definitely feeling a good-change of my skin throughout these 10 days of Murad Resurgence Multi-Acid Peel use. I was not expecting a visible result to be honest. Murad Multi-Acid peel left me surprised after comparing my own pictures.

I nearly destroyed my skin in the past couple of months during my Bangladesh travel. I haven’t been regular with my skincare routine and thus the destruction. However, during the travel period, I was using all those products I mentioned above except the Murad Multi-acid peel and Fresh Sleeping mask. I started using the mask a week before I started the Multi-Acid Peel.

Murad Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel worked for me just as it claims. Usually Murad skincare products I used before works with a long period of time. Even Murad Hydro Glow Aqua Peel wasn’t this fast and effective like this Multi-Acid Peel. Although that was a sheet mask treatment and Resurgence Replenishing Peel is another type of peeling treatment.

Time frame doesn’t matter much to me but who wouldn’t like a faster result, right?

I’m truly surprised how this product helped me to revive my skin texture and tone just within a short period of time! If you have got a mature skin and struggling with your skin texture then you may want to give this one a try.

I agree that the price point is always higher for Murad products but this peeling solution is something is worth spending money on!

Have you had a chance to try Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask? This Milk Peel Cream Mask is a bubble mask actually. It’s also fast working which recommended to keep on the face for 30 to 60 second. I’ve had it for a few months now and also been trying it enough to understand it properly s far. But this 60-second timing is just going over my head. When it’s a mask, bubble mask or whatever else, I need time with it.

Previously fastest masking time, 2 minute, I encountered with FOREO UFO Smart Mask even which I like to repeat for a couple of session!

How Althea Milk Peel Mask Works?

This clay-based mask activates with water. When you massage the mask with water or in a damp skin it bubbles up. Unlike other bubble masks, [e.g. Mamonde Bubble Mask or such] Althea Milk Peel doesn’t really bubble up right away when dispensed out from the bottle.

The more you massage the more the mask bubbles up. I like playing with this bubble mask so I could never stop in instructed 30-60 seconds but I go along with my mood-timing.

The bubbles this mask creates is also very fine which I kinda like. However, in my opinion, this fine bubble is nothing smooth like whipped cream as said by Althea Korea. Contained AHA and BHA properties of Milk Peel Mask works work to give the skin a gentle exfoliation. Also the milk protein suppose to give a nourishing feeling after each use.

My thoughts on Althea Bubble Mask AKA Milk Peel Cream Mask:

After my generous time of using this Althea exfoliating bubble mask I actually failed to under the naming reason of it. The mask initially doesn’t even smell like milk but those budget baby powders. 30-60 second of use give me a feeling that I’m using a bubble cleanser, straightforward.

If I take it as a cleanser then Milk Peel fails on the term it won’t work over my makeup. I can’t only take it as a 2nd or 3rd time cleaning. Which is why my best found time of using this mask is at night after cleansing ritual and before my sheet masking session.

Yes Althea Milk Peel does gives a refreshing feeling after the use but my combination skin seeks for hydration. Considering this fact I will say it’s not moisturizing like milk. At least for my skin! I like to follow up this mask with a sheet mask every time.

Don’t ask me… but if you’ve used it then you tell me… Why exactly this mask calls a ‘Cream Mask’?!

This Milk Peel mask has no characteristic of a cream mask formulation. For the most common fact, a cream mask will soothe irritated skin. Whereas Althea Milk Peel is an exfoliating [kinda-mm-sorta; turned out too gentle to notice anything for me] mask!!!

It would give me a good feeling if It was named straight –

Althea bubble mask.
… It bubbles up after all!

Is this Althea exfoliating mask works on skin brightening?

I’ve discussed the mask with a few of my friends who have been using this mask as well. Some of them found this mask brightening. Which I disagree with! It’s refreshing and skin feels clean but I think the AHA/BHA exfoliating effect is too gentle to give a visible brightening effect.

Well, it might! In case if you’ve never used (or not using) any acids/other exfoliating skincare items in your skincare routine. I’m obviously must on retinol and other acids in my skincare regimen. Not to forget me on my 30’s and I do care for aging!

I assume for young skin or those who have sensitive skin Althea Milk Peel can come handy.
