How to use FOREO UFO LED Thermo Activated Smart Mask Treatment?

It’s not anything hard but very easy to use a UFO Smart Mask. First, remove the attachment ring from UFO. Take UFO Activated Mask, that you want to use. Place the mask on the device. Place back the attachment ring by clipping it inside with the sheet mask. The attachment ring keeps the sheet mask secure with the UFO device.

I found that there is always some extra essence remains on the sheet mask packet. I take out the remaining essence on the sheet after locking it on UFO.

Rest is simple, turn your UFO and the FOREO app (if you’re using that) on. Then gently glide UFO across your clean face. Massage the formula in circular motions until the device turns off. If one treatment session (90 seconds) doesn’t feel enough you can restart the same treatment by pressing the button once within 30-second after the end.

After finishing the LED Thermal activated treatment, gently pat the remaining essence into the skin. Follow with a moisturizer if needed.

Are you wondering if you must use the FOREO app to use UFO?

FOREO has a dedicated phone app for its beauty gadgets. Once downloaded the app will guide you to pair your UFO device with the app. When you scan the mask barcode the app reads it and sync the UFO automatically for the treatment. There are a few customizing options as well within the app to set thermal, light, or pulse function according to personal preference. With the FOREO app, you can set and use UFO just the way you want, which you can not do without the FOREO app.

However, UFO is usable without the app as well. The universal button does everything and it is pre-programmed for ‘Make It A Day’ and ‘Call It A Night’ Mask. If you press the button once, it will turn the UFO on. Press again for the ‘Make It A Day’ mask treatment. Press twice for the ‘Call It A Night’ mask treatment.

Initially, FOREO offered only these two masks to use with UFO Smart Mask. Just recently FOREO launched a few more varieties of mask treatment. To activate those new masks you must use the app. Once activated then you can use the universal button accordingly.

My experience with FOREO UFO 90-second Smart Mask:

I was skeptical at the beginning and now I’m addicted to FOREO UFO.

Aesthetically this beauty device is quite pleasing, something you would want to show off! It is made of ultra-hygienic silicone and it’s soft and very smooth to touch. Among 3 colors I choose the mint UFO to match and fulfill the FOREO beauty gadget army (it’s a beauty addict’s thing, wink) of mine.

I’ve been using the basic ‘Make It A Day’ and ‘Call It A Night’ Foreo Mask Treatment with my UFO. Each type of mask UFO has a different pulse, heat, and light setting pre-programmed. I’m obsessed with UFO’s thermal technology. I did experience this before in a clinical skin treatment session but trust me it feels way better with the comfort of home.

Just before bed, I’ve been using the UFO ‘Call It A Night’ treatment and it feels I can sleep better after the treatment. UFO ‘Make It A Day’ treatment mask almost instantly revives skin health and makes me glow. Honestly, before FOREO UFO I and my skin never felt such relaxed and refreshed by any at-home mask. I just had a facial done after ages, Murad Vita-C Quenching Facial. I’m sure you’re well known for Murad Skincare already. Why wouldn’t you, after all, Murad was around since 1989 founded by Dr. Murad, and with the trust of its customers this brand has been in the market for so long. If you’re a beauty addict like me you’ve already heard of how good their products are. I myself a fan of their products for years. To be honest Murad skincare products are pricey yet as per my experience, it’s completely understandable why they’re.

Besides that Did you know Murad offers facials as well?

If you didn’t and it’s not anything new either. Every Murad outlet is also a full-form aesthetic clinic as well. Furthermore, Murad facials are even personalized too. You so present your skin concerns and the expert will take care of them for you.

I have done facials at Murad several times in the past and just did their vita-c quenching facial which was something new I’ve tried this time. Thanks to Murad Malaysia of course for the offer to try again their facial service.

This time I’ve experienced Mursd’s Vita-C Quenching Facial considering my skin need which was a 75-minute intensive facial focused on treating the skin pigmentation and intensive hydration. Among its several treatment steps, Murad Vita-C Quenching Facial consists of ultrasonic soundwaves to brighten, smooth, and hydrates skin to reveal radiant and more even skin tone.

The treatment lounge at Sunway pyramid is located at the back of its store. You get a spacious, cozy room for your facial session, a cupboard for your stuff, a clean environment, ambient lights to set the mood right, and whatnot!

The First Step: Cleansing

a basic cleansing first to remove all the makeup and dirt and then followed by deep cleansing.

Second Step: Extracting Clogged Pores

After the cleansing process, my face was all clan and supple due to the use of steam and the pores were all ready to get rid of whatever had clogged inside. I haven’t done that for ages and it kinda hurts a bit. Good that I only had a couple of clogged pores and not many black or white heads.

Third Step: Glycolic acid exfoliation

applied gel-like glycolic acid for 10 minutes. I loved this step. Well, it did sting for a minute or two then the face was feeling calm. afterward, my face was instantly glowing.

Fourth Step: Felaxing Face and Shoulder Massage

Around 10 minutes and this was so so relaxing with the ambient lights and music. I was about to fall asleep yet I didn’t. Decided to stay awake and feel the massage.

The Exciting Step: Ultrasonic Sound Wave

First, they applied Vitamin C Quenching Essence to solve skin’s hydration and pigmentation problems. Then comes the ultrasonic sound wave to penetrate the serum in the deep layer of the skin. 10min on each side of the face. The device felt cold and extremely relaxing and practically this 20minutes was the most relaxing part of this facial. Kinda reminded me of the Thermotherapy I do at home yet this was way more intense than what I do at home.

Last Step: Hydrating Mask and Pack-up

At this step, they applied a 10-min Mask hydrating mask. After 10 minutes wiped off the mask and applied a soothing serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen to finish off the skin.

I and my skin were so relieved and refreshed after the facial. I felt my skin was breathing itself… that fresh!

How was my overall experience with Murad Vita-C Quenching Facial?

The facial was No doubt a great experience for me as I haven’t had my skin done for years due to the pandemic years and all. My skin was glowing from within and had that amazing supple look in it. And it was widely visible I tell you. The effect literally lasted around 3 days. I would wake up in the morning and look at my face and say Oh, my skin is still glowing. Was sad on the fourth day seeing the skin glow dimmed a bit. Wish it had a lengthier effect.

I like one fact about Murad facials that is you won’t be leading to a push sale tactics to make you buy their skincare stuff after the facial which sadly other aesthetic clinic does. I hate it from the bottom of my heart. You can simply follow up with your regular skincare products afterward. If you’re already using Murad products you won’t have to change to different skincare. Actually, It doesn’t matter or is relevant to whatever skincare you for before or after the facial service. Every facial results in a one-off effect. It is just the intensive skin pampering session that you can give your skin every month or every other month to keep a balance between your skincare routine and professional services.

Las month I’ve been trying out two Murad Skincare products together, & City SkinAge Defense SPF 50 PA ++++ and Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum. They claims to be the power duo for a spotless skin even without visiting a dermatologist.

Now every skin faces the ultimate skin problem, Dark spots. Mostly it’s the part of the natural aging process or perhaps the UV damage or possible the hormones, the pregnancy(melasma/cholasma), the acnes and many more. Over all we all get dark spots and we all try to get rid of them.

When I was contacted by Murad about this Rapid Dark Spot Serum I thought this is the Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum (from the same Murad Environmental Shield Skincare Range) that i’ve used and loved earlier when I was pregnant. Turns out it’s not.

This serum is transparent yet slightly orangish in color. Has a smile feelings to it. Takes a minute to completely absorb into the skin.

How exactly I use this Rapid Dark Spot Serum By Murad?

Been using this serum mostly in my data time skincare routine. As the alternative nights I don’t use a retinol product.

After cleansing I use a toner or essence on my face first then one pump on each side of my face I would apply this serum. Then another pump for my neck and chest area. After a minute when the serum is fully absorbed I follow up with moisturizer. Specifically for the day time skincare routine I finish my skincare steps with the sunprotection, Murad City Skin Age Defence Broad spectrum SPF 50 PA++++

Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum Before After Comparisn

If you take a look at the comparison picture above, to begin with I had a slight uneven skin tone at the side of my face. And in the after picture (exactly 2 weeks of use both of the Dark Spot Serum and City Skin Sunscreen) my skin is pretty much evened out.

For the clarification both picture I’ve taken with the sunscreen on.

The bits of sunspots and freckles I’ve can’t tell if they faded out a bit or not but I like how my skin tone is more even now.

So yes, this urad Dark Spot Serum surely works with a visible effect. In fact I didn’t initially expected too see much this fast considering my previous experience with Murad Skincare. They usually works fantastic with a slow and steady manner.

I’m pleased that this serum did meet its claims and of course looking forward to see more improvement as I continue using it.

Murad City Skin SPF 50 PA++++ Sunscreen

This City Skin Sunscreen by Murad is a 100% mineral AKA physical sunscreen with a slightly tinted formula that mimics a brighter looking skin.

Murad City Skin SPF 50 PA++++ shields the skin against multiple types of light damage whether indoor blue light from screens or outdoor UVA and UVB. I’ve tried a few bottle of it in the past and loved it. I like the tinted formula of this sunscreen as it gives a radiant and kinda pearlized finish to the skin.

How To Use AXIS Y Dark Spot Correcting Serum?

Easy, use a thin layer all over the face or you can also use it just in the targeted areas.

I use it all over my face.

I’ve used both day and night routines (mostly, some days I skip at night) every day after applying the toner. The serum takes around 30 to 40 seconds to get absorbed into the skin. Glycerin and squalane-based products are always not fast absorbers.

After the serum is well absorbed in my skin I follow with the next skincare product.

My Experience with AXIS-Y Dark Spot Serum

Its been around a month of using this serum. I like a 50ml tube because any usual 30 serums simply run out too fast sometimes even before understanding what they’re doing on the skin. I took the time to review this AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum this stuff because,

It didn’t give any instant result
It started working and showing the result after a good amount of use. And this thing turned out great for my skin.

No, I’m not giving you the conclusion right here.
Let me talk a bit in detail,

First of all, AXIS-Y Correcting Serum has a cloudy gel texture (picture below), thicker than a usual serum, that absorbs not right away but yes considerably quick into the skin.

I don’t have acne-prone skin hence dark spots on my face are mostly are suns spots.

Plus nowadays my baby finds it very entertaining to scratch my face, therefore, there is always some new scratch mark on my face every week. These are the dark spot concerns I’ve been dealing with at the moment and always in a try to make those spots go away faster or I should say finding a way to make it appear lighter.

AXIS-Y’s Dark Spot Serum has been helping a lot, especially for the spots I’ve been getting from my baby. I would always see my one-week-old spots are almost gone by the end of the week.

For the old sunspots, I have,
well, they are always stubborn! Perhaps they’re in a control to appear in the ultimate pigmented state.

How Does AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum Works?

Although The AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum contains Niacinamide (5%), and Papaya Fruit Extract as an enzymatic exfoliant, the strength is mild here thus the result comes out slowly with regular use of the serum.

However, because of its mild characteristic, the serum is actually great to incorporate within any skincare routine. I find it works amazing with my other powerful skincare products.

For instance, my retinol products at night Simply can layer 5% Niacinamide over retinol without the tension of irritating my skin. Whereas because it contains squalane it relieves me from the thought of dryer skin the next morning due to the retinol.

Does the AXIS-Y Dark Spot Serum Make skin glow?

First of all, for its moisturizing properties, AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum does soothe the skin. It did help to calm down skin irritation during the hot afternoon (always topped with sunscreen) and calmed down my skin.

For instance, In the morning I tend to skip my moisturizing essence/toner as this AxisY serum itself gives me my required moistures effect. Then I would layer my Klairs Vitamin-C drops. Been skipping the moisturizer as well lately because my skin was feeling moisturized. Lastly, I would top up my face with sunscreen.

I wash my face every three to four hours when I’m home and reapply everything day-time skincare specifically to keep the sun protection intact and also to feel fresh throughout the day. Never felt my skin wasn’t dehydrated or such so far with this routine of mine and specifically with AXIS-Y Spot Correcting Serum.

Do I Recommend Axis Y Dark Spot Serum?

I like the non-irritant characteristic of this serum while having a stable solution to maintain glowing skin. I think everyone would want that.

If you’re in cold weather I’m sure you would like its moisturizing effect. If you’re in a hot and dry climate like me you’ll find this serum does the job of your other moisturizing product alone.

Now, if you want a banish all your spots from the face like magic,
– eh, no SORRY!
this is no magic potion.

Yet overall this serum is a good serum. If you’re looking to minimize your skincare steps, want a simplistic product to maintain good skin that also provides some level of moisture to the skin this serum is going to be your go-to.

AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen Review | 2in1 : Sunscreen and brightness boost with Niacinamide

#ButFirstSunscreen, that’s how my skincare game runs now! Since last month I’ve been trying out AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen. Axis-Y, a Korean skincare brand, is a fairly new skincare brand to me. I’m getting to know a couple of their products, along with this AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen at the moment.

So far it turned out to be a simplistic yet effective skincare range just as their packaging looks. Let me tell you my detailed experience with this AxisY Physical Sunscreen…

What is AXIS-Y No-Stress Physical Sunscreen?

It’s as it says a physical sunscreen. With generous sun protection with SPF 50+ PA++++. Which means it protects skin from UVA+UVB rays. Contained Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide give broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection.

AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen Review

ASIS-Y No-Stress Sunscreen Claims to give no white cast, dryness and is safe for sensitive skin. It has no mineral oils in it, no fragrance, no parabens, and no animal ingredient. Has a skin-friendly blend of ingredients (patented SYN-COLL ingredient) that calms and relieves the skin while doing the main job – protecting from sun rays.

Axis-Y Physical Sunscreen has Artemisia Capillaris Extract (0.005%) along with Chamomile and Squalane which are popular for their anti-bacterial properties. There are more; e.g. Grape Seed Extract, Green Tea, and Calendula extract for wound-healing, anti-aging benefits, and skin rejuvenation. This sunscreen also has Niacinamide (2%) in it to give the skin brightening and skin-balancing effect.

How To Use Axis-Y Sunscreen

It’s just as usual. Wash your skin and apply all your daily skincare products. Shake the sunscreen tube dispense a generous amount of sunscreen and apply it to your face, neck, ears, and decolletage. Do re-apply in a minimum 3 to 4 hours gap during the day.

I couldn’t find anything about Axis-Y sunscreen to be waterproof so if you’re going to the pool you might want to switch to a waterproof one.

My Experience with AXIS-Y No-Stress Physical Sunscreen

AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++

The Physical sunscreen has a creamy texture. Gives a whitish layer initially and takes a minute or two to absorb into the skin. It’s a bit oily at first but after spreading it evenly it becomes less oily. When the sunscreen is blended properly it leaves no white cast however if not blended properly whitish layer feels obvious and also skin feels slightly sticky.

In the final finish, it leaves the skin matte.

I like a dewy feeling and look in my skin, all the time. Hence when I’m using this sunscreen I make sure I’ve used a hydrating skincare product (serum or moisturizer) underneath.

When it’s about sunscreen my personal preference is a hybrid or chemical sunscreen. Mainly because a physical sunscreen feels heavier than a chemical sunscreen. It’s normal, a physical sunscreen requires more product to protect the skin from the sun as it lays on the top of the skin. With that being said, I find AxisY sunscreen is considerably lightweight.

The dispensing nozzle of AXIS-Y sunscreen is something I really like. This nozzle makes it super convenient to apply the right amount of product to the skin. Also the 50ml packaging of it I find good enough to use for a couple of months.

Are you a mommy to be? Wondering if AXIS-Y Sunscreen is safe during pregnancy?

All physical sunscreens are and this one as well. This stays on the top of your skin nothing much going inside. And whatever going inside like niacinamide or such isn’t harmful to pregnancy at all.

Do I recommend Axis-Y Sunscreen?

Yes, it’s a good one especially if you’re a fan of physical sunscreen and matte finish on the skin.

I’m almost halfway around finishing the tube. I also have it on my repurchase list if I feel like switching to a matte finish sunscreen. Especially I feel this sunscreen going to be a great choice when I’m in humid weather.

PS: I have got a combination skin type.

When its about bright and glowing skin Vitamin C and Niacinamide is the TRUTH 🌞If you’re someone who frequently suffers from acne breakouts and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), or you’re someone like me who has a decent skin condition but struggle to maintain that even skin brightness then struggle no more. Klairs Vitamin C Serum and elmt Skin Illuminating Solution these two products together in skincare are your solution.

So I incorporated these two magic ingredients for glowing skin, Vitamin C and Niacinamide, in my skincare for a month now by layering ELMT Skin Illuminating Solution and Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop respectively. Mostly in my morning skincare routine.

As I said before I have a decent skin condition with a combination skin type. I don’t have a pore issue or acne issue but my main skin concern is staying away from dull skin and having that radiant, glowing skin all the way. These two Korean skincare products layered together have been truly helping me with my targeted result.

Klairs Vitamin C Serum AKA Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

First of all, I love the Klairs Vitamin C Serum packaging. It’s clean and the product inside is visible, unlike other vitamin C products.

Why so?

Klairs Vitamin C Serum is stabilized to be effectively kept safe in a clear bottle. Also, it contains only 5% of vitamin C. Although Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop is a vitamin C serum it’s not entirely one. It contains other beneficial ingredients that work in conjunction to accelerate Vitamin C, e.g. Centella etc.

Now Klairs Vitamin C serum is not any water-like serum, It has a lot of oil ingredients in it and it’s oily on the skin. Well, not that heavy oily-oily but more of a lightweight dry oil texture, or it’s more appropriate to say it has a squalene-like texture. To be very honest I would probably love this Vitamin Serum more if it wasn’t oil-based.

The serum glides smoothly over the skin and gives a kinda warming sensation upon application. It doesn’t tingle, sting, or anything later other than that initial warmth for a few seconds. The good part, the serum absorbs fast into the skin. The oiliness also goes away when I apply moisturizer over it.

ELMT Skin Illuminating Solution

This is the 3rd elmt product I’m using at the moment. Read my reviews on the other two elmt Solutions if you haven’t yet. It’s more of a minimalist skincare line that is quite impressive. As much as I love the elmt exfoliating solution I’m loving the Skin Illuminating solution as well.

ELMT Skin Illuminating Solution promises radiant and glowing skin because of its 10% Niacinamide content and Greape+Pomegranate extract that boost the effect of niacinamide.

INGREDIENT LIST:

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Water, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Trehalose, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Panthenol, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Extract, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Resveratrol, Cyanocobalamin

It’s a clear, colorless, and fragrance-free toner that is almost water-like and gives a pleasant “slip” upon application applied. Also, it doesn’t feel anything heavy or sticky on the skin thus making it very pleasant to follow with the next skincare step right away.

You might think this higher niacinamide percentage of the toner might cause irritation however I haven’t had any issues with my daily use. I in fact felt it to be very gentle. With or without layering the Klairs Vitamin C Serum on top, my skin has been acting very well with ELMT SKin Illuminating solution. Skin feels clear and breathing right after the application.

Although it has a 10% of Niacinamide in it it’s a toner so I personally don’t expect much of a spot removing the effect from it but yes with other concentrated products this niacinamide toner does help to get clearer skin.

I haven’t been using this only with the Klairs Vitamin C Serum But also at night with my retinol product.
YES,
niacinamide works complementary way with retinol products. Because it’s a toner with niacinamide it makes it easier to layer under the retinol. I love ELMT skin illuminating toner for this fact. After all, not many toners are available there with this high percentage of niacinamide, and the niacinamide, serums are definitely heavier than a toner.

How have I experienced This Duo of Klairs Vitamin C Serum and ELMT Illuminating Solution While Layerd?

This is how my routine was for the past month (mostly)…

Morning:

1. Cleanse – been in a rotation with Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser, Simple Micellar Cleanser, Pixi Beauty Glow Mud Cleanser, and COSRX AC Calming foam cleanser.
2. Tone – the ELMT Skin Illuminating Toner
3. Serum – Klairs Vitamin C serum. One dropper gives me the right amount for my whole face and neck. Yes, I don’t skip my neck ever with any skincare products.
4. Moisturize – (been altering between Mamonde Floral Hydro Cream, Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer, and Nutox Youth Restoring Moisture Emulsion)
5. Sunscreen – COSRX Aloe Soothing Sunscreen or Mad Hippie Daily protective serum (SPF 30+) when I’m feeling like skipping the moisturizer part and I know I’ll be home all the away from the sun.

Night:

1. Cleanse (Same as morning)
2. Tone – the ELMT Skin Illuminating Toner
3. Serum – HadaLabo H.A. Supreme Vita Serum or the Filorga Time Filler Intensive
4. Moisturize – Drunk Elephant A passion every alternative day, Loccitane Immortelle Divine in between
5. Eye Cream: Filorga Global Repair Eye and LIps
6. Face oil to seal all the deal – Sunday Riley LUNA Sleeping Night Oil (Absolutely love using this face oil for years now)

***Note: Wishtrend recommends the layering process other way ways, I mean the Vitamin C Serum First and ELMT Solution after. But I use the ELMT as my toner.

Now the overall result has been great. My skin has been doing really good lately. It’s not dull, it’s radiant. Last week I went to Khiels 1-on-1 skin session and had my skin analyzed (yes you know everything if you’ve seen my insta stories) and the result was amazing. The hydration level of my skin is perfect with a strong skin barrier.

That means, fresh and GLOWING skin!

Seeing the result I was so happy how my skincare effort has been paying off!

*** Do keep in mind that skincare results are always different for everyone.

Now there are a couple of questions that get asked a lot of times,

1. When Should I use Vitamin C Serum, in the Morning or at Night?

I prefer and recommend vitamin C serums in the morning.

It’s just a vitamin C serum that prevents skin from sun damage and protects free radicals while, of course, layer with sunscreen. A vitamin C serum mainly boosts the effect of sunscreen.

Although, you can definitely use Vitamin C serum both in the morning and evening. There is no rule.

2. Is It Safe to Use Niacinamide and Vitamin C together?

Yes. There was a controversy however it has been cleared by researchers that niacinamide and Vitamin C causes no problem if layered together. In fact within my experience I found, if layered, it helps to boost the brightening effect and helps to get rid of acne or any spots faster.

2. Can I use Klairs Vitamin C Serum( or any Vitamin C serum) twice a day?

Yes, in terms of low percentage Vitamin C serums like this Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drops.

For a higher percentage serum e.g. Pure Vitamin C 21.5 it is safe to use once a day. At least my skin prefers it that way.

NEVER forget the sunscreen when using VITAMIN C or NIACINAMIDE
or practically anything else, just NEVER FORGET USING SUNSCREEN!

PS: Vitamin C is acidic. If you’re a first time user, use it slowly. Perhaps every other day and gradually increase to daily applications. This will help with any unexpected skin condition.

5 easy DIY hair mask (with shea butter) | How to Prevent Postpartum Hair Loss

Postpartum hair loss is a real thing and I’ve got a lot of queries about how I dealt with my postpartum hair fall problem. You found this 5 DIY hair mask post of mine and still reading which me you haven’t found a solution for your hair loss issue yet.

Worry not, I got your back!

Here in this post, I’m going to share with you very easy 5 DIY hair mask recipes that I’ve tried and tested myself during my postpartum journey. These hair masks truly helped me to revive damaged hair, prevent postpartum hair fall in the best manner also maintain hair health.

You know it if you’ve been through or going through it. During the pregnancy, the hair becomes so lush and beautiful and in postpartum the hair takes a U-turn in a completely worst way.

Do keep in mind that there is a normal hair fall cycle, some of our hair fall daily.

Do you wonder why we face so many hair issues during postpartum?

Apart from the normal hair fall ratio, When someone is pregnant the body goes through a major hormonal change which stops even the normal hair loss and suddenly the hair becomes voluminous and lush. At the postpartum the drop of hormones causes the fast hair fall for a couple of months. HAir loses its healthy look and shine. This time if the hair is taken care of properly it is possible to keep a healthy balance and in fact can prevent the excessive hair fall.

5 DIY hair mask recipes below you can apply according to your hair concern. Now here I’ve used a core ingredient, shea butter which can also be altered with other plant-based butter or the butter we eat. However, the butter we eat usually is a bit too much fat to use as a mask I find and this is the only reason I choose to use shea butter for the hair masks.

Get rid of dull hair:

5tbs of melted butter
1 ripe and smashed avocado,
1 tbs honey.

Mix all the ingredient together and apply it on the hair from root to tip. Let the mask sit for an hour or so. Wash off with shampoo and condition afterward as you do regularly. Try this mask at least thrice a week for a fast result at the beginning. Once your hair has your desired look you may reduce the use to once a week.

Hair mask for nourished hair & postpartum hair regrowth:

Mix 2 tbs coconut milk with
2 tbs butter (for a shoulder-length hair).

Apply the mask all over your hair. wash off as usual. This hair mask is more appropriate for normal hair and to give a quick boost of healthy shine in hair.

Get rid of dandruff problem:

2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs butter
2 tbs lemon juice
4tbs sour curd or unflavoredrd and unsweetend yogurt

This DIY hair mask is a very easy one and quite a time saver. Mix all the ingredient together and apply it on the hair from root to tip. Let the mask sit for 15/20 minutes. Wash off, shampoo and condition as you do regularly.

PS: this mask is also a very nourishing one. This you might not require a conditioner afterward. Do skip the conditioner if you feel so.

Try this mask at least twice a week for a fast result at the beginning and can reduce the use once the hair feels lush and dandruff-free.

Revive dry hair stop Postpartum Hair Loss:

2 egg yok, butter
1 tbs raw whole milk
1 tbs melted butter

Mix all the ingredient together and apply it on the hair from root to tip. Let the mask sit for an hour or so. Wash off with shampoo and condition afterward as you would do regularly.

Try this mask at least thrice a week for a fast result at the beginning. Once your hair has your desired look you may reduce the use to once a week.

DIY hair mask for non-frizzy hair:

1 banana
1/2 avocado,
4tbs melted butter

Its best if you can blend these 3 ingredients all together and create a smooth paste. If the mask has banana lumps in it it will get difficult to wash off from the hair. Apply the mask thoroughly on the hair from root to tip. Damp a towel in warm water and cover the hair with the towel. Let it be like that for 30 minutes and then wash off as usual.
Try this mask at least once a week or as you require.

Now, you can apply these masks according to your hair need or just can mix and match within your hair care routine to have a change of choices. If you continue any of these you’ll see healthy hair in no time also your hair fall problem will reduce to an extent.

Remember that having healthy hair requires a ritual, it’s not any one-time magical job.

Avocado Mask for Silky Hair, Supple Skin | Easy 2-in-1 Home Remedy

Yes Yes this post is about how avocado mask can be used to get silky hair and baby soft skin. If you are following me on my instagram, you must have seen my face slathered in avocado. It was not accidental. I love eating avocado, in my breakfast, with salad, in my drinks (avocado milk smoothie one of my favorite) and in so every other way possible.

Did you know that, alongside being a super nutritious food Avocado is also great to maintain healthy hair and nourished skin.

Healthy and glowing skin always comes from within, depending on food habits, lifestyle, stress scale, etc. However, we always have the option to boost skin radiance or maintain healthy skin by putting a bit of an extra effort. Therefore, in my opinion, home remedies come handy in every way.

Home remedies are more like eating some and at the same time slathering some on the face or hair. I infect find it fun at times.

Anyways, here is how I use avocado mask for hair and skin...

The recipe below:

Ingredients to make the Mask:

A few slices of ripe avocado
1 tbs organic honey
2 tbs lemon juice

***you might need more of everything if you have long hair hair length. For the face mask usually a moderate layer of the mask does its job.

How to use Avocado mask:

Mash avocado using a spoon or your hand, make a smooth paste. Stir in honey and lemon juice into the paste. Slather the paste onto your clean face and hair. You don’t need to put a thick layer of the mask but concentrate on spreading the juicy extract.

Let the mask sit on the skin for 15 minutes. Then gently massage the face for a couple of minutes more. In case if the mask feels dry add lemon juice to thin it down.

Wash off with warm water then rub some ice to close your open pores. Pat dry and follow with your favorite serum or even just the moisturizer.

I would normally apply the mask at the same time when I’m using it on the face. By the time I’m finish with my face mask the hair gets the enough time to lick the avocado goodness. When I feel I’m done with the hair mask I straight hop on the shower.

The honey gets sticky when dry so it’s very important to rinse off the mask thoroughly.

When the hair is clean I simply follow with the regular haircare routine, the shampoo and conditioner. After blowdrying the hair, viola, super soft and silky hair every time!

Avocado benefits in haircare and skin:

Avocado contains vitamin A, E, C and many other nutrients that help to keep skin moisturized, hydrated and smooth. Honey contains the antibacterial and antiseptic agent that specifically helps to fight inflammation or if you have acne issues. Natural fruity acids of lemon work effectively on reducing dark spots, pigmentation and enhance skin’s natural glow

Just like the mask work on the skin it also works the same way nourishing the hair body while restores hair shine in no time.

This mask with all three ingredients proven to me as a supreme source of moisture and many other benefits without any sort of side effect. When these three delicious ingredient works together they’re bomb to skin and hair food.

I’ve been finding myself applying Avocado mask quite often lately just because it makes my hair feel so soft and shiny! However, home remedies are good if used 2/3 times a week according to the hair/skin need.
