Battling dark spot and maintaining skin glow, these two are probably the two crucial skin concern that everyone more or less have in their skincare strategy. what if you get the solution in a 2-in-1 product? yes, I’ll be sharing my experience about that in this AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Serum review.

If you have then you know I’ve been trying out this Axis-Y Serum along with the sunscreen. Considering my first time using products from the brand AXIS-Y, it has been a pleasant experience with both of these products.

What Is AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum?

AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum is a product from AXIS-Y 6+1+1 skincare range.

This is, as it says, a Dark Spot Serum where 5% Niacinamide is a core ingredient to correct dark spots on the skin by reducing pigmentation and improving uneven skin tone.

Alongside that, Axis Y Dark Spot Serum contains Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Squalane and etc goodness which altogether helps the skin to hold on to the moisture level that results in healthier and glowing skin.

The serum is also vegan, Cruelty-free, Paraben & Mineral Oil-Free. Has no artificial colors & fragrances in it. Appropriate for any skin type that is either acne-prone or sensitive.

How To Use AXIS Y Dark Spot Correcting Serum?

Easy, use a thin layer all over the face or you can also use it just in the targeted areas.

I use it all over my face.

I’ve used both day and night routines (mostly, some days I skip at night) every day after applying the toner. The serum takes around 30 to 40 seconds to get absorbed into the skin. Glycerin and squalane-based products are always not fast absorbers.

After the serum is well absorbed in my skin I follow with the next skincare product.

My Experience with AXIS-Y Dark Spot Serum

Its been around a month of using this serum. I like a 50ml tube because any usual 30 serums simply run out too fast sometimes even before understanding what they’re doing on the skin. I took the time to review this AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum this stuff because,

It didn’t give any instant result
It started working and showing the result after a good amount of use. And this thing turned out great for my skin.

No, I’m not giving you the conclusion right here.
Let me talk a bit in detail,

First of all, AXIS-Y Correcting Serum has a cloudy gel texture (picture below), thicker than a usual serum, that absorbs not right away but yes considerably quick into the skin.

I don’t have acne-prone skin hence dark spots on my face are mostly are suns spots.

Plus nowadays my baby finds it very entertaining to scratch my face, therefore, there is always some new scratch mark on my face every week. These are the dark spot concerns I’ve been dealing with at the moment and always in a try to make those spots go away faster or I should say finding a way to make it appear lighter.

AXIS-Y’s Dark Spot Serum has been helping a lot, especially for the spots I’ve been getting from my baby. I would always see my one-week-old spots are almost gone by the end of the week.

For the old sunspots, I have,
well, they are always stubborn! Perhaps they’re in a control to appear in the ultimate pigmented state.

How Does AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum Works?

Although The AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum contains Niacinamide (5%), and Papaya Fruit Extract as an enzymatic exfoliant, the strength is mild here thus the result comes out slowly with regular use of the serum.

However, because of its mild characteristic, the serum is actually great to incorporate within any skincare routine. I find it works amazing with my other powerful skincare products.

For instance, my retinol products at night Simply can layer 5% Niacinamide over retinol without the tension of irritating my skin. Whereas because it contains squalane it relieves me from the thought of dryer skin the next morning due to the retinol.

Does the AXIS-Y Dark Spot Serum Make skin glow?

First of all, for its moisturizing properties, AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum does soothe the skin. It did help to calm down skin irritation during the hot afternoon (always topped with sunscreen) and calmed down my skin.

For instance, In the morning I tend to skip my moisturizing essence/toner as this AxisY serum itself gives me my required moistures effect. Then I would layer my Klairs Vitamin-C drops. Been skipping the moisturizer as well lately because my skin was feeling moisturized. Lastly, I would top up my face with sunscreen.

I wash my face every three to four hours when I’m home and reapply everything day-time skincare specifically to keep the sun protection intact and also to feel fresh throughout the day. Never felt my skin wasn’t dehydrated or such so far with this routine of mine and specifically with AXIS-Y Spot Correcting Serum.

Do I Recommend Axis Y Dark Spot Serum?

I like the non-irritant characteristic of this serum while having a stable solution to maintain glowing skin. I think everyone would want that.

If you’re in cold weather I’m sure you would like its moisturizing effect. If you’re in a hot and dry climate like me you’ll find this serum does the job of your other moisturizing product alone.

Now, if you want a banish all your spots from the face like magic,
– eh, no SORRY!
this is no magic potion.

Yet overall this serum is a good serum. If you’re looking to minimize your skincare steps, want a simplistic product to maintain good skin that also provides some level of moisture to the skin this serum is going to be your go-to.

If you’re a person like me then this will just be an add-on to the skincare. I would not stop reaching for my targeted and more powerful stuff for this serum alone.

With that being said I believe AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum is going to be amazing for younger skin e.g. if you’re a teen or in your 20s, go for it.

AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen Review | 2in1 : Sunscreen and brightness boost with Niacinamide

#ButFirstSunscreen, that’s how my skincare game runs now! Since last month I’ve been trying out AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen. Axis-Y, a Korean skincare brand, is a fairly new skincare brand to me. I’m getting to know a couple of their products, along with this AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen at the moment.

So far it turned out to be a simplistic yet effective skincare range just as their packaging looks. Let me tell you my detailed experience with this AxisY Physical Sunscreen…

What is AXIS-Y No-Stress Physical Sunscreen?

It’s as it says a physical sunscreen. With generous sun protection with SPF 50+ PA++++. Which means it protects skin from UVA+UVB rays. Contained Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide give broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection.

AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen Review

ASIS-Y No-Stress Sunscreen Claims to give no white cast, dryness and is safe for sensitive skin. It has no mineral oils in it, no fragrance, no parabens, and no animal ingredient. Has a skin-friendly blend of ingredients (patented SYN-COLL ingredient) that calms and relieves the skin while doing the main job – protecting from sun rays.

Axis-Y Physical Sunscreen has Artemisia Capillaris Extract (0.005%) along with Chamomile and Squalane which are popular for their anti-bacterial properties. There are more; e.g. Grape Seed Extract, Green Tea, and Calendula extract for wound-healing, anti-aging benefits, and skin rejuvenation. This sunscreen also has Niacinamide (2%) in it to give the skin brightening and skin-balancing effect.

How To Use Axis-Y Sunscreen

It’s just as usual. Wash your skin and apply all your daily skincare products. Shake the sunscreen tube dispense a generous amount of sunscreen and apply it to your face, neck, ears, and decolletage. Do re-apply in a minimum 3 to 4 hours gap during the day.

I couldn’t find anything about Axis-Y sunscreen to be waterproof so if you’re going to the pool you might want to switch to a waterproof one.

My Experience with AXIS-Y No-Stress Physical Sunscreen

AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++

The Physical sunscreen has a creamy texture. Gives a whitish layer initially and takes a minute or two to absorb into the skin. It’s a bit oily at first but after spreading it evenly it becomes less oily. When the sunscreen is blended properly it leaves no white cast however if not blended properly whitish layer feels obvious and also skin feels slightly sticky.

In the final finish, it leaves the skin matte.

I like a dewy feeling and look in my skin, all the time. Hence when I’m using this sunscreen I make sure I’ve used a hydrating skincare product (serum or moisturizer) underneath.

When it’s about sunscreen my personal preference is a hybrid or chemical sunscreen. Mainly because a physical sunscreen feels heavier than a chemical sunscreen. It’s normal, a physical sunscreen requires more product to protect the skin from the sun as it lays on the top of the skin. With that being said, I find AxisY sunscreen is considerably lightweight.

The dispensing nozzle of AXIS-Y sunscreen is something I really like. This nozzle makes it super convenient to apply the right amount of product to the skin. Also the 50ml packaging of it I find good enough to use for a couple of months.

Are you a mommy to be? Wondering if AXIS-Y Sunscreen is safe during pregnancy?

All physical sunscreens are and this one as well. This stays on the top of your skin nothing much going inside. And whatever going inside like niacinamide or such isn’t harmful to pregnancy at all.

Do I recommend Axis-Y Sunscreen?

Yes, it’s a good one especially if you’re a fan of physical sunscreen and matte finish on the skin.

I’m almost halfway around finishing the tube. I also have it on my repurchase list if I feel like switching to a matte finish sunscreen. Especially I feel this sunscreen going to be a great choice when I’m in humid weather.

PS: I have got a combination skin type.

When its about bright and glowing skin Vitamin C and Niacinamide is the TRUTH 🌞If you’re someone who frequently suffers from acne breakouts and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), or you’re someone like me who has a decent skin condition but struggle to maintain that even skin brightness then struggle no more. Klairs Vitamin C Serum and elmt Skin Illuminating Solution these two products together in skincare are your solution.

So I incorporated these two magic ingredients for glowing skin, Vitamin C and Niacinamide, in my skincare for a month now by layering ELMT Skin Illuminating Solution and Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop respectively. Mostly in my morning skincare routine.

As I said before I have a decent skin condition with a combination skin type. I don’t have a pore issue or acne issue but my main skin concern is staying away from dull skin and having that radiant, glowing skin all the way. These two Korean skincare products layered together have been truly helping me with my targeted result.

Klairs Vitamin C Serum AKA Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

First of all, I love the Klairs Vitamin C Serum packaging. It’s clean and the product inside is visible, unlike other vitamin C products.

Why so?

Klairs Vitamin C Serum is stabilized to be effectively kept safe in a clear bottle. Also, it contains only 5% of vitamin C. Although Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop is a vitamin C serum it’s not entirely one. It contains other beneficial ingredients that work in conjunction to accelerate Vitamin C, e.g. Centella etc.

Now Klairs Vitamin C serum is not any water-like serum, It has a lot of oil ingredients in it and it’s oily on the skin. Well, not that heavy oily-oily but more of a lightweight dry oil texture, or it’s more appropriate to say it has a squalene-like texture. To be very honest I would probably love this Vitamin Serum more if it wasn’t oil-based.

The serum glides smoothly over the skin and gives a kinda warming sensation upon application. It doesn’t tingle, sting, or anything later other than that initial warmth for a few seconds. The good part, the serum absorbs fast into the skin. The oiliness also goes away when I apply moisturizer over it.

ELMT Skin Illuminating Solution

This is the 3rd elmt product I’m using at the moment. Read my reviews on the other two elmt Solutions if you haven’t yet. It’s more of a minimalist skincare line that is quite impressive. As much as I love the elmt exfoliating solution I’m loving the Skin Illuminating solution as well.

ELMT Skin Illuminating Solution promises radiant and glowing skin because of its 10% Niacinamide content and Greape+Pomegranate extract that boost the effect of niacinamide.

INGREDIENT LIST:

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Water, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Trehalose, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Panthenol, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Extract, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Resveratrol, Cyanocobalamin

It’s a clear, colorless, and fragrance-free toner that is almost water-like and gives a pleasant “slip” upon application applied. Also, it doesn’t feel anything heavy or sticky on the skin thus making it very pleasant to follow with the next skincare step right away.

You might think this higher niacinamide percentage of the toner might cause irritation however I haven’t had any issues with my daily use. I in fact felt it to be very gentle. With or without layering the Klairs Vitamin C Serum on top, my skin has been acting very well with ELMT SKin Illuminating solution. Skin feels clear and breathing right after the application.

Although it has a 10% of Niacinamide in it it’s a toner so I personally don’t expect much of a spot removing the effect from it but yes with other concentrated products this niacinamide toner does help to get clearer skin.

I haven’t been using this only with the Klairs Vitamin C Serum But also at night with my retinol product.
YES,
niacinamide works complementary way with retinol products. Because it’s a toner with niacinamide it makes it easier to layer under the retinol. I love ELMT skin illuminating toner for this fact. After all, not many toners are available there with this high percentage of niacinamide, and the niacinamide, serums are definitely heavier than a toner.

How have I experienced This Duo of Klairs Vitamin C Serum and ELMT Illuminating Solution While Layerd?

This is how my routine was for the past month (mostly)…

Morning:

1. Cleanse – been in a rotation with Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser, Simple Micellar Cleanser, Pixi Beauty Glow Mud Cleanser, and COSRX AC Calming foam cleanser.
2. Tone – the ELMT Skin Illuminating Toner
3. Serum – Klairs Vitamin C serum. One dropper gives me the right amount for my whole face and neck. Yes, I don’t skip my neck ever with any skincare products.
4. Moisturize – (been altering between Mamonde Floral Hydro Cream, Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer, and Nutox Youth Restoring Moisture Emulsion)
5. Sunscreen – COSRX Aloe Soothing Sunscreen or Mad Hippie Daily protective serum (SPF 30+) when I’m feeling like skipping the moisturizer part and I know I’ll be home all the away from the sun.

Night:

1. Cleanse (Same as morning)
2. Tone – the ELMT Skin Illuminating Toner
3. Serum – HadaLabo H.A. Supreme Vita Serum or the Filorga Time Filler Intensive
4. Moisturize – Drunk Elephant A passion every alternative day, Loccitane Immortelle Divine in between
5. Eye Cream: Filorga Global Repair Eye and LIps
6. Face oil to seal all the deal – Sunday Riley LUNA Sleeping Night Oil (Absolutely love using this face oil for years now)

***Note: Wishtrend recommends the layering process other way ways, I mean the Vitamin C Serum First and ELMT Solution after. But I use the ELMT as my toner.

Now the overall result has been great. My skin has been doing really good lately. It’s not dull, it’s radiant. Last week I went to Khiels 1-on-1 skin session and had my skin analyzed (yes you know everything if you’ve seen my insta stories) and the result was amazing. The hydration level of my skin is perfect with a strong skin barrier.

That means, fresh and GLOWING skin!

Seeing the result I was so happy how my skincare effort has been paying off!

*** Do keep in mind that skincare results are always different for everyone.

Now there are a couple of questions that get asked a lot of times,

1. When Should I use Vitamin C Serum, in the Morning or at Night?

I prefer and recommend vitamin C serums in the morning.

It’s just a vitamin C serum that prevents skin from sun damage and protects free radicals while, of course, layer with sunscreen. A vitamin C serum mainly boosts the effect of sunscreen.

Although, you can definitely use Vitamin C serum both in the morning and evening. There is no rule.

2. Is It Safe to Use Niacinamide and Vitamin C together?

Yes. There was a controversy however it has been cleared by researchers that niacinamide and Vitamin C causes no problem if layered together. In fact within my experience I found, if layered, it helps to boost the brightening effect and helps to get rid of acne or any spots faster.

2. Can I use Klairs Vitamin C Serum( or any Vitamin C serum) twice a day?

Yes, in terms of low percentage Vitamin C serums like this Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drops.

For a higher percentage serum e.g. Pure Vitamin C 21.5 it is safe to use once a day. At least my skin prefers it that way.

NEVER forget the sunscreen when using VITAMIN C or NIACINAMIDE
or practically anything else, just NEVER FORGET USING SUNSCREEN!

PS: Vitamin C is acidic. If you’re a first time user, use it slowly. Perhaps every other day and gradually increase to daily applications. This will help with any unexpected skin condition.

5 easy DIY hair mask (with shea butter) | How to Prevent Postpartum Hair Loss

Postpartum hair loss is a real thing and I’ve got a lot of queries about how I dealt with my postpartum hair fall problem. You found this 5 DIY hair mask post of mine and still reading which me you haven’t found a solution for your hair loss issue yet.

Here in this post, I’m going to share with you very easy 5 DIY hair mask recipes that I’ve tried and tested myself during my postpartum journey. These hair masks truly helped me to revive damaged hair, prevent postpartum hair fall in the best manner also maintain hair health.

You know it if you’ve been through or going through it. During the pregnancy, the hair becomes so lush and beautiful and in postpartum the hair takes a U-turn in a completely worst way.

Do keep in mind that there is a normal hair fall cycle, some of our hair fall daily.

Do you wonder why we face so many hair issues during postpartum?

Apart from the normal hair fall ratio, When someone is pregnant the body goes through a major hormonal change which stops even the normal hair loss and suddenly the hair becomes voluminous and lush. At the postpartum the drop of hormones causes the fast hair fall for a couple of months. HAir loses its healthy look and shine. This time if the hair is taken care of properly it is possible to keep a healthy balance and in fact can prevent the excessive hair fall.

5 DIY hair mask recipes below you can apply according to your hair concern. Now here I’ve used a core ingredient, shea butter which can also be altered with other plant-based butter or the butter we eat. However, the butter we eat usually is a bit too much fat to use as a mask I find and this is the only reason I choose to use shea butter for the hair masks.

Get rid of dull hair:

5tbs of melted butter
1 ripe and smashed avocado,
1 tbs honey.

Mix all the ingredient together and apply it on the hair from root to tip. Let the mask sit for an hour or so. Wash off with shampoo and condition afterward as you do regularly. Try this mask at least thrice a week for a fast result at the beginning. Once your hair has your desired look you may reduce the use to once a week.

Hair mask for nourished hair & postpartum hair regrowth:

Mix 2 tbs coconut milk with
2 tbs butter (for a shoulder-length hair).

Apply the mask all over your hair. wash off as usual. This hair mask is more appropriate for normal hair and to give a quick boost of healthy shine in hair.

Get rid of dandruff problem:

2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs butter
2 tbs lemon juice
4tbs sour curd or unflavoredrd and unsweetend yogurt

This DIY hair mask is a very easy one and quite a time saver. Mix all the ingredient together and apply it on the hair from root to tip. Let the mask sit for 15/20 minutes. Wash off, shampoo and condition as you do regularly.

PS: this mask is also a very nourishing one. This you might not require a conditioner afterward. Do skip the conditioner if you feel so.

Try this mask at least twice a week for a fast result at the beginning and can reduce the use once the hair feels lush and dandruff-free.

Revive dry hair stop Postpartum Hair Loss:

2 egg yok, butter
1 tbs raw whole milk
1 tbs melted butter

Mix all the ingredient together and apply it on the hair from root to tip. Let the mask sit for an hour or so. Wash off with shampoo and condition afterward as you would do regularly.

Try this mask at least thrice a week for a fast result at the beginning. Once your hair has your desired look you may reduce the use to once a week.

DIY hair mask for non-frizzy hair:

1 banana
1/2 avocado,
4tbs melted butter

Its best if you can blend these 3 ingredients all together and create a smooth paste. If the mask has banana lumps in it it will get difficult to wash off from the hair. Apply the mask thoroughly on the hair from root to tip. Damp a towel in warm water and cover the hair with the towel. Let it be like that for 30 minutes and then wash off as usual.
Try this mask at least once a week or as you require.

Now, you can apply these masks according to your hair need or just can mix and match within your hair care routine to have a change of choices. If you continue any of these you’ll see healthy hair in no time also your hair fall problem will reduce to an extent.

Remember that having healthy hair requires a ritual, it’s not any one-time magical job.

Avocado Mask for Silky Hair, Supple Skin | Easy 2-in-1 Home Remedy

Yes Yes this post is about how avocado mask can be used to get silky hair and baby soft skin. If you are following me on my instagram, you must have seen my face slathered in avocado. It was not accidental. I love eating avocado, in my breakfast, with salad, in my drinks (avocado milk smoothie one of my favorite) and in so every other way possible.

Did you know that, alongside being a super nutritious food Avocado is also great to maintain healthy hair and nourished skin.

Healthy and glowing skin always comes from within, depending on food habits, lifestyle, stress scale, etc. However, we always have the option to boost skin radiance or maintain healthy skin by putting a bit of an extra effort. Therefore, in my opinion, home remedies come handy in every way.

Home remedies are more like eating some and at the same time slathering some on the face or hair. I infect find it fun at times.

Anyways, here is how I use avocado mask for hair and skin...

The recipe below:

Ingredients to make the Mask:

A few slices of ripe avocado
1 tbs organic honey
2 tbs lemon juice

***you might need more of everything if you have long hair hair length. For the face mask usually a moderate layer of the mask does its job.

How to use Avocado mask:

Mash avocado using a spoon or your hand, make a smooth paste. Stir in honey and lemon juice into the paste. Slather the paste onto your clean face and hair. You don’t need to put a thick layer of the mask but concentrate on spreading the juicy extract.

Let the mask sit on the skin for 15 minutes. Then gently massage the face for a couple of minutes more. In case if the mask feels dry add lemon juice to thin it down.

Wash off with warm water then rub some ice to close your open pores. Pat dry and follow with your favorite serum or even just the moisturizer.

I would normally apply the mask at the same time when I’m using it on the face. By the time I’m finish with my face mask the hair gets the enough time to lick the avocado goodness. When I feel I’m done with the hair mask I straight hop on the shower.

The honey gets sticky when dry so it’s very important to rinse off the mask thoroughly.

When the hair is clean I simply follow with the regular haircare routine, the shampoo and conditioner. After blowdrying the hair, viola, super soft and silky hair every time!

Avocado benefits in haircare and skin:

Avocado contains vitamin A, E, C and many other nutrients that help to keep skin moisturized, hydrated and smooth. Honey contains the antibacterial and antiseptic agent that specifically helps to fight inflammation or if you have acne issues. Natural fruity acids of lemon work effectively on reducing dark spots, pigmentation and enhance skin’s natural glow

Just like the mask work on the skin it also works the same way nourishing the hair body while restores hair shine in no time.

This mask with all three ingredients proven to me as a supreme source of moisture and many other benefits without any sort of side effect. When these three delicious ingredient works together they’re bomb to skin and hair food.

I’ve been finding myself applying Avocado mask quite often lately just because it makes my hair feel so soft and shiny! However, home remedies are good if used 2/3 times a week according to the hair/skin need.

NU SKIN AgeLOC Boost Microcurrent Treatment Device Review | way to get bright & bouncy skin in 2 minute

A couple of months ago from today, I started my NU SKIN ageLOC Boost skincare journey. 2 minutes every day that’s how I aimed for. And so here I’m to share with you my experience with the AgeLOC Boost microcurrent device by NU SKIN.

Advanced Skincare and beauty devices always excite me. This microcurrent device by NU SKIN is even an Edison award winner [consumer goods, bronze: 2021]. I’m sure you can tell how excited I was about AgeLOC BOOST initially.

Microcurrent has been there for decades, especially in physical therapy. Nowadays it’s hyped in beauty regimens specifically when it’s about at-home treatments. I’m not new to microcurrent treatment, I own another awesome microcurrent device.

However, AgeLOC Boost is quite different than that. Alongside the anti-aging benefits, AgeLOC Boost focuses on enhancing the radiance and glow of the skin.

Wondering how does ageLOC Boost works?

The simple yet gorgeous-looking microcurrent device, AgeLOC Boost, features an exclusive microcurrent waveform with variable pulse technology and that’s what promises to deliver visibly radiant, bouncy, and plump skin. It sends microcurrent pulses to the skin eight times per second. With the AgeLOC Boost Activating Serum the microcurrent of the device optimizes the skin to achieve a more glowing, firm, plumped, and even complexion.

Research says, Microcurrent boosts the production of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) which leads to stimulation of elastin and collagen. Hence the treatment triggers tissue repair and natural skin enhancement chemicals at a cellular level. As a result, skin appears more youthful.

How to use NU SKIN AgeLOC Boost

It’s easy and very user-friendly. Everything is controlled by touch, with no switch or anything.

To start the device you need to swipe up once. Dispense 3 pumps of AgeLOC Boost Activating serum on the plate of the device. Spread the product half of the face using the device. Then Swipe up on the power space once again and you’re good to go. You’ll be hearing a rhythmic pulse. Now gently sweep the device over the face in an upwards motion.

The device takes a pause atutomatically when the treatment is done for one side. Reapet applying the serum on the other half of the face and repeated the steps again to have your full face microcurrent treatment.

When you’re done the device will turn off by it self.

To sum up, one full-face treatment needs 6 pumps of the AgeLOC Boost Activated serum. And if the plate isn’t fully saturated with the serum it also stops automatically.

AgeLOC Boost activating Treatment

Every microcurrent device needs a conductive treatment/serum so the current can travel deep into our skin. Usually all brands has their own conductive serum. For the AgeLOC Boost NU SKIN’s Activating Treatment plays a major game. It’s not only a conductive serum but a power-packed serum that claims to brighten, plump, and provide anti-aging benefits.

My skin truly loves the serum. It’s not anything jelly-like or leaves any residue and also a pure water-based formula that I can say from how it feels on the skin. There is some exfoliating matter as well that exfoliated the skin during the microcurrent treatment.

I would share the ingredient list with you but what happened is last month I shifted my apartment and when I felt to have a look at the ingredients of the serum (as I was really liking how it feels on the skin) found out I’ve lost the packaging of the serum during the move. But I tried to looked for the ingredient list on the NU SKIN website but there wasn’t anything specific but the mention of key ingredients only.

My Experience with NU SKIN AgeLOC Boost

Love the design of the device. It’s sleek and smart. The plate makes it so easy to use around the nose, eyes, and especially on my forehead. AgeLOC Boost doesn’t say anywhere that it’s shockproof but I didn’t get any shock with it so fact. It is very very comfortable on the skin. In a matter of fact, I feel a stronger microcurrent wave with my BEAR.

It does visibly brighten up the skin and skin feels firm yet plumed from within after every time I use it. I believe the activated serum majorly does the instant magic. However that bright and plumped skin stays just for the day. If I continue using it everyday my skin stays in its best shape. Then also If I use the device, per se, twice a week my skin also stay balanced in a better form compared to the week without using NU SKIN AgeLOC Boost.

Dont be allarmed. That’s how a micro current device works. You must use it regularly to have a balanced and youthful skin.

I’ve some sun spots and blemishes on my skin. i didn’t notice any difference on the so far.

Initially, I thought the serum would last me longer than other conductive serums as it comes in a 40ml amount. But It doesn’t. Because it requires a minimum of 6 pumps for one treatment session, and then my skin drinks it up in a couple of seconds. Moreover, I love using it because it leaves no residue and I can simply follow up with my other skincare products after finishing the microcurrent treatment.

Wondering How often should you use NU SKIN AgeLOC Boost?

Every day, morning or evening anytime you prefer. Initially, I started using it at night and I would also go for multiple sessions at once; e.g. one whole treatment just one side of the face. However then I realized I was running out of my serum super fast hence slowed myself down. Now I use it in the morning, before my morning skincare routine, of course after cleaning my face.

To conclude about AgeLOC BOOST Microcurrent Device,

Its a 2 minute comfortable and visible face lifting session everyday!

With a microcurrent device, consistency is the key. It’s not a cheap device so it’s not meant to be lying somewhere unused. You pay a handful of money for a sleek micro-current device like AgeLOC Boost, you gotta use it properly and regularly and you’ll see the result.

Also in case of taking breaks on the regularity I found out I definitely loose some of the achievement I’ve worked for and then agin staring from the backward.

So you do need a commitment here, pal. If you can commit then you may add NU SKIN AgeLOC Boost in your beauty device considerations.

What’s the Difference Between FOREO UFO and FOREO UFO 2?

From the outer look of the device, a FOREO UFO and a FOREO UFO 2 is the same. No difference you can practically detect. They have a different outer packaging though (picture above).

The technology basics of FOREO UFO and FOREO UFO 2 are also similar. Both have T-sonic pulsation (soundwave), Thermo- Therapy, and Cryo Therapy with some improvement to the technology.

UFO 2 claims to pulse faster than UFO, up to 10,000 sonic pulsations per minute. The T-sonic pulsation however is always customizable via the FOREO App. Thermo Therapy in UFO 2 claims to heat up 5x faster than the UFO original. The Cryo-Therapy remains same in the both UFO version, couldn’t find any information on the change or experienced any difference.

Both devices are compatible with a range of FOREO Activated Mask.

Where they majorly differ?

It’s the LED (light-emitting diode) Light Therapy.

FOREO UFO has only 3 colors (Red, Blue, and Yellow) LED light options where FOREO UFO 2 has eight colors/wavelengths that can benefit the skin in many ways.

Yes, you can mix and match to get a different light within the customize option in UFO original however you won’t be getting a Yellow light in UFO so as the full Yellow to Orange wavelength benefit. Moreover, the mix and match option in FOREO UFO original is also very limited.

The UFO 2 has a color wheel within the app where you can customize the LED Light intensity and shades to a vast range according to your preference. I love this LED light freedom and love playing with different colors while using the UFO mask.

Wondering How does LED light therapy Benefits skin?

Let me give you a basic idea on the 8 key LED light Therapy that UFO 2 offers:

Red AKA the restorative LED stimulates collagen production and elastin to firm and lift skin. Which helps to improve age signs.
Blue light helps to minimize skin imperfections, destroys P. acnes bacteria to stop breakouts, and controls excessive oil production. Blue LED light also helps to soothe inflamed skin conditions.
Green LED helps to even out skin tone, softens age spots, dark circles, and other discolorations resulting a brighter skin.
Purple light helps to boost radiance, eliminate toxins, calm inflammation, and stimulate healing.
Orange LED light helps to soothe sun damage and renew skin.
Yellow led also soothes sunburn, combats swelling, revives dull skin, and benefits overall skin tone.

Cyan LED, my favorite on the list, is an anti-inflammatory bluish-green light that calms stressed-out skin. It has been proven to promote healing, reduce the size of swollen capillaries and block pain.
White LED – is the longest wavelength and reaches deeper into the skin than any other color. White LED tones and tightens the skin, reduces puffiness, activates the skin’s natural renewal system, and produces a general rejuvenating effect.

How do you use the UFO Foreo?

It’s easy. Attach the Activated mask to the device then turn the device on. Gently glide UFO across your face using circular motions. The device will tell you when to stop.

I have described how to use a FOREO UFO device in detail in my previous post where I reviewed the FOREO UFO original. Using UFO 2 is no different.

However, you’ll find a lot more options within the FOREO App for UFO 2. For instance, options to control light mix and intensity, options to find your UFO remotely.

Can You Use Foreo UFO 2 without FOREO Activated Mask?

Yes. FOREO UFO 2 can be used without FOREO’s mask. It’s a user-friendly device and can be used alone without FOREO’s activated mask. You can use your favorite regular sheet mask and glide the UFO device over it. However gliding UFO over a regular sheet mask is not as easy as it with FOREO’s Activated masks because a regular mask won’t stick to the place and it runs here and there when gliding the device on the face using a circular motion.

I, personally, prefer it with FOREO’s Activated mask all the way.

The UFO 2 device can be used without a mask at all. Sometimes I like to use my UFO 2 alone. I would apply my favorite serum and use a session of UFO 2 over it with Cryo-Therapy and Sonic Pulsation. The pulsation stimulates skin at the cellular level and helps the skin to get the maximum benefit from the skincare product. Plus the Cryo-Therapy reduces any puffiness or inflamed skin condition I might have, helps to minimize pores and it’s extremely relaxing.

If you wondering about Thermo Therapy, I don’t use that alone without an Activated mask. The heat feels a bit too much for my skin to use directly.

Can I use FOREO UFO 2 every day?

Yes, surely you can. FOREO UFO Smart Mask sessions can be done anytime you wish for and anywhere. It is that convenient as a sheet mask.

If you ask me, I usually give myself a FOREO UFO 2 masking session every other day (unless I forget) with the FOREO UFO Activated mask. Especially the vast range of UFO Activated masks makes them so much fun to use. I just grab one according to what my skin is needing for the day, pop on the UFO 2, connect with the app, and relax for the next 2 or 4 minutes.

Yes, I said 4 minutes because I mostly repeat the treatment because, firstly, it’s never enough having that spa-like feeling. Secondly, every UFO Activated mask has so much serum in it to use up in just one session. I do it since I use my first UFO. Readout my experience with UFO original, click here.

If you’re thinking to get your first one, regardless of which one you choose, UFO or UFO 2 is an amazing beauty device to have in your skincare squad. It’s a huge time saver considering a regular sheet mask plus mess-free. Not only that but having facilities to heat, cold, and LED light therapy within the face masking routine just by self at home is something advanced and luxurious.

I loved my UFO first version and, very honestly, I love having the upgrade, UFO 2, more. Upgrading to the UFO 2 gives me a feeling of freedom, the feeling of having wings (considering the full-spectrum LED light therapy).

Is it helpful to have the upgrade? Certainly. Is this worth it? I will leave that decision to you.

Nonetheless, For any gadget, if getting it for the first time, I wouldn’t think twice but getting new technology. Then again, if you don’t want to cut the wallet in full, with the UFO original you wouldn’t miss much.

The first skincare line by elmt, promises EFFECTIVENESS. elmt is a new, new skincare brand by Wishtrend that was just recently launched, has 4 skincare solutions [skin toner to say it simply] in their line at the moment. I was trying out two of them, elmt Advance Calming Solution and Gentle Exfoliating Solution for the past few weeks.

& so here I’m…

to share my user experience with you all.

elmt Advance Calming Solution ꧂

It’s a hydrating solution that heals and soothes the skin. Enriched with more than 59.12% Centella Asiatica extract, known for its skin reparative properties. Not only that but there are also ingredients like snow fungus-derived polysaccharides.

INGREDIENTS:
Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Water, Centella Asiatica Leaf/ Stem Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Propanediol, Pullulan, Trehalose, Panthenol, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Allantoin, Pentylene Glycol, Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Centella Asiatica Root Extract.

My Experience with The Advance Calming Solution

I love lightweight toner. elmt Advanced Calming Solution gave me the instant feeling of a quick rejuvenating splash of water on the face. After 2 weeks of use, I found out it’s not only an instant skin rehydrating toner but does a lot more than that.

This solution feels sorta slippery on the skin yet it’s not anything heavy feeling. Good enough to provide the adequate amount of hydration skin needs after the cleanser. Neither anything too much to step forward to the next skincare products.

I prefer Advanced Calming Solution in my morning skincare routine, right after my cleanser.

I’ve been loving it the day I do my skin peel treatments. This solution helps to reduce the redness after I do my skin peeling and works better than some of the other skin calming products I’ve been using lately.

Contained ingredients of The Advance Calming Solution, Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Centella Asiatica Leaf/ Stem Extract & Centella Asiatica Root Extract; which are is familiar for their calming properties, which were obviously working well on my skin.

elmt Gentle Exfoliating Solution ꧂

It’s a gentle but active exfoliating toner and my most used among the two of elmt solutions I’ve been using. This one is enriched with AHA, vitamin C, and an antioxidant-rich super berry complex (49.02% blueberry and raspberry extracts), which reduces inflammation and irritation, while also promoting cell turnover.

INGREDIENTS:
Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Trehalose, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Panthenol, Allantoin.

My experience with elmt Gentle Exfoliating Solution:

I’ve been using elmt Gentle Exfoliating Solution every night for the past 2 weeks approximately. Also used it sometimes during the day after I washed my face. It’s a simple and gentle exfoliating toner so I didn’t worry much.

For instance using lactic acid, glycolic acid, etc (ingredient list above) might feel concerning during the day but elmt Gentle Exfoliating Solution is also packed with other hydrating and soothing ingredients that stabilize the formulation. And there is always sunblock to protect the skin.

Regardless,
do a patch test first as everyone’s sensitivities are different, so what might technically be mild, may not be for some people.

Luckily, the solution turned out pretty mild for my skin as I’ve experienced it. I haven’t experienced any tingling sensation, redness, or any other kind of skin discomfort.

With that being said, I did not notice much of an instantl exfoliating result on my skin. nonetheless, using it regularly has helped my skin to keep my pores clear, and skin smooth and supple during the time.

There is one thing I want to mention, elmt Gentle Exfoliating Solution gets sticky on the face after few seconds. It absorbs quickly and the skin feels nourished after the application but leaves a sticky residue. I’m honestly not a fan of that feeling. However when I go over my next skincare step that stickiness doesn’t feel bothering anymore.

The basics | packaging, Texture and etc of elmt Solution

Both of the solutions come in a 150ml bottle green glass bottle. The whole packaging is simply a minimal aesthetically pleasing.

Both solutions are clear in color because they have no artificial color in them. Has no artificial fragrance, but it does have a very mild almost undetectable natural fresh scent of the ingredients.

Texture-wise, both are watery and lightweight yet they are a tad different from each other.

How I use elmt Solution within my combination skincare routine?

My general way of layering skincare products is cleanser > toner > essence (if any) > targeted serum > moisturizer > face oil.

For their charecteristic I treat these elmt solution as toner.

Many like to use their toner with their hands. I don’t, for watery stuff particularly. I prefer to using cotton pads. It feels mess-free that way and also adds physical exfoliation to boost the effectiveness of the product.

I wet the cotton pad wit the solution and swipe allover my face. While my face is still wet I followup with the next skincare products.

You might be wondering if I have tried both of the elmt solution together or not?

In my morning routine, I use the straight after applying the elmt Gentle Exfoliating Solution, however, for my night routine, I apply the Advanced Calming Solution on its own as my toner step. I found that when I use the Advanced Calming Solution on its own, I can layer as much as I want on without it getting sticky, however, when I apply it over the Gentle Exfoliating Solution, my skin does feel sticky until it fully absorbs, because of this I definitely prefer to use them separately and will do so from now on.

Which elmt solution I would recommend?

Both of them actually nice. I have nothing to complain about.

However, having thirty-plus skin I love exfoliating products more. It meets the need of my everyday skin exfoliation regimen. Thus the elmt Gentle Exfoliating Solution is my personal favorite.

I would recommend this Exfoliating Solution to anyone looking for a very mild, gentle exfoliating booster that will help towards the skin’s natural cell turnover process. Don’t expect immediate results with this one, but be patient and you’ll eventually start reaping its benefits.

For the elmt Advanced Calming Solution,
it is a product that every skin types can enjoy and it’s good to have something calming to the skin available in the skincare shelf.
