Camera Ready Cosmetics | Haul & Experience

16

Hie there beautiful, how you doing? After quite a long time I’m here writing a haul post, it’s not that I haven’t been shopping, haha, but those weren’t anything special that is informative and helpful until today. As you can tell from the title it’s about my shopping experience with Camera Ready Cosmetics. I thought to share my shopping experience with Camera Ready Cosmetics because this was my first ever purchase on the site, I’m uber excited and I truly feel I must share my thought with you guys.

Are you hearing the name ‘Camera Ready Cosmetics’ for the first time? I assume No, by chance if you don’t know about them then let me tell you…

Who/what is Camera Ready Cosmetics?

Camera Ready Cosmetics is a USA based online makeup store, founded in 2003 by Makeup Artist Mary Erickson, that sells mainly PRO makeup product and also some Indie brand. If you know slightly more about makeup then you already know what I meant by PRO makeup, these are those that a normal makeup user wouldn’t possibly need. Like an example, RCMA, Graftobian color palette or SFX kits, airbrushing tools and else. In my knowledge, there are many physical PRO stores in the states but when you are an international most of the time it is obvious to rely on online shopping. And then it comes to the product authenticity, there is a counterfeit product all around and we often get confused, don’t we? Camera Ready Cosmetics is the authorized dealer of all the brands they carry and sells only 100% authentic product. They also offer a vast range of brand so it is more like a one-stop shop for PRO makeup item.

My experience with Camera Ready Cosmetics:

I aways wanted to shop from Camera Ready Cosmetics but never really needed anything that a random makeup lover like me would need from a pro store until now.

I wanted to try Ben Nye powders so badly. Ben Nye is definitely not available everywhere and I didn’t want to buy it from third party seller to avoid getting a fake product. Also, when it comes to makeup I hardly rely on eBay or Amazon. So Camera Ready Cosmetics was the first thing came up in my mind. But I’m always hesitant when it comes to online shopping and international shipping. I hate waiting months for a product. Trust me, I took really long to decide whether I should get them from CRC or not. Then finally, I did opt for it. Most of the USA based online shop charge really high even for a normal first class shipping but the shipping fee on CRC is pretty reasonable and they also provide tracking code.

Camera Ready Cosmetics

I bought…

  • Ben Nye Banana Powder – $22 (3oz)
  • Ben Nye Neutral Set Powder – $7 (1.5oz)
  • Ben Nye Media PRO Concealer – $9.50
  • Z-palette magnet sticker – $5

There was no extra charge or else and my shipping charge was $13.99. I loved how they came in, with a nice sturdy box, all my product were secure and intact inside. It took 2 days to get the shipping confirmation after I placed my order on CRC. Then it was roaming around within the USA for 10 days (I’m not sure why). At the 10th day my package departed from the US and the next week I got my delivery. Roughly, my order took around 18 days to reach me which I think is pretty normal for any international shipping.

So overall my shopping experience with CRC was pleasant. The worry I had before is completely gone and no doubt I’m going to shop from CRC again and again. If you are a makeup lover and looking for some stuff that isn’t easily available to you I highly recommend having a look at CRC website. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

By the way, I will update you soon with my thoughts on these Ben Nye products. So stay connected 🙂

Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Cleansing Gel

18

A few years ago I got to know about the brand Paulas Choice via Allure Beauty on youtube. Later on, I came across many other bloggers/YouTuber that loves Paulas Choice skincare product for its natural and skin friendly product.

Paulas Choice is a skincare brand based in the USA. Unlike other mainstream cosmetic brands, Paula’s Choice focuses not on marketing and untrue claims, but on cosmetic science education to the public, products with clinically proven ingredients that really work for the skin, and the customer-first philosophy.

I always wanted to try the Paulas Choice skincare product (who doesn’t want less chemical for their skin!). Sadly, it was always out of my reach because it’s a USA based brand. However, finally, I got to try a Paulas Choice product that is their Earth Sourced Perfectly Natural Cleansing Gel. Needless to say, how excited I was when I got it in hand!

About the packaging, I’ve nothing much to say but I like it. Not any cheap plastic container that is wrapped up with a plastic paper label but very good and sturdy packaging. The print, direction, label, and everything are sealed in the container itself.

Paulas Choice Say’s about the cleanser:

This exceptionally gentle gel cleanses your skin while preserving its natural protective barrier. Removes debris and makeup quickly and easily, leaving your skin perfectly clean and radiant-looking. Formulated with only natural ingredients that soothe and smooth your skin as you cleanse. Earth Sourced Perfectly Natural Cleansing Gel contains only natural ingredients proven to be gentle, yet effective without causing redness, flaking, or other signs of irritation. Contains no animal-derived ingredients of any kind. Packaging is 100% recyclable.

This cleansing gel is ideal for most skin types, especially normal, sensitive, combination, and oily skin. It is specially formulated for those who prefer skincare products made from natural ingredients that are proven safe and effective.

Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Cleansing Gel

The best characteristic of Paulas Choice product’s is, they are all sort of bad ingredient free; like alcohol, dye, fragrance etc.

The ingredients list of Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Cleansing Gel

  • Key Ingredients:
glucose, glycerin, coco-glucoside, decyl glucoside, glyceryl oleate
  • Product Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Decyl Glucoside (coconut-derived cleansing agent), Glycerin (skin-repairing ingredient), Sodium Cocoamphoacetate (coconut-derived cleansing agent), Lauryl Glucoside (plant-derived cleansing agents), Xanthan Gum (plant-derived thickeners), Coco-Glucoside (plant-derived cleansing agents), Glucose (sugar-based water-binding agent), Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate (plant-derived cleansing agents), Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate (plant-derived cleansing agents), Glyceryl Oleate (plant-derived emulsifier), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (water-binding/soothing agent), Carrageenan (plant-derived thickeners), Sodium Phytate (synthetic chelating agent), Citric Acid (fruit-derived pH adjuster), Ethylhexylglycerin (synthetic skin-conditioning agent), Phenoxyethanol (synthetic preservative), Potassium Sorbate (plant derived preservative).

Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Cleansing Gel

My experience with Paulas Choice Earth Sourced Cleansing Gel:

I have been using this cleanser for a month now and I not yet close to finishing half of the bottle. A little of this cleanser goes a long way. Texture wise it is a clear gel but runny in consistency but it’s not super thin or runny. It is very easy to spread on the skin, doesn’t lather up much and perfectly goes with my Clarisonic MIA2.

Earth Sourced Cleansing Gel by Paulas Choice works great or removing makeup as well.

I take a generous amount in a cotton pad then gently work with my makeup face. This cleanser easily melts down my foundation and liquid lipstick with a few swipes; waterproof mascara takes a bit more work. After removing the makeup I go over again normally with the cleanser and rinse off my face. As because it doesn’t lather up much, it is so easy to rinse off. My face feels absolutely clean, oil-free, hydrated and smooth after every use.

Though it says it’s a fragrance-free product, somehow I smell fermented coc0nut in it (very unusual smell but it is soothing) haha… probably it’s because of the natural ingredients.

I have combination skin and my skin has been loving this Earth Sourced Natural Cleansing Gel lately. I won’t say it has become my HG cleanser but I agree with all benefit it claims and I truly fell in love with it. It is truly gentle to the skin and effective in work. For those who are a Clarisonic user like me, I’m happy to state that this is a fantastic Clarisonic Compatible cleanser. And obviously, I highly recommend this cleanser to everyone who is looking for a good, natural, kind to skin cleanser.

Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact | High Coverage with SPF 50+

34

Lancome recently released the expansion to its Cushion Compact family with the launch of the Blanc Expert Cushion HIGH Coverage with SPF 50+/PA+++. The highlights of this cushion compact are, it is long wearing with high coverage, comes with a new Polar™ technology (patent pending) designed to adapt to a higher coverage texture and gives a lively rosy complexion.

There is also some major upgrade; the reinvented sponge cushion covered with a unique mesh.

  • The sponge cushion: it is made up of interwoven fibres that offer more space for the formula thanks to larger cavities. The stiffness of these fibres also allows optimal retention of the formula at the heart of the sponge.
  • The mesh: covering the sponge and activated on first use, it filters the formula to ensure fine, even application, while helping to maintain its freshness.

Lancome also says this is an innovative skin care and makeup trio to combat the seven environmental factors of the “Exposome”, including blue light, and restore the complexion’s rosy glow. A three-step routine characterised by freshness, and combining – depending on its products – pigmentation-correcting actions and surface-covering actions:

  1. Blanc Expert Beautiful Skin Tone Brightening Cream, skin care designed to correct and even out the complexion.
  2. UV Expert XL-ShieldTM CCCover SPF50 PA +++ tinted protection to combat blue light and pollution.
  3. Last but not least, Lancôme has once again demonstrated its ability to innovate by creating the first high coverage cushion, a real technological challenge. Blanc Expert Cushion Compact High Coverage SPF 50 /PA+++ is the meeting between Lancôme’s complexion expertise, its mastery of the best filters to protect the complexion, and travel- friendly technology that prioritises freshness and lightness. Three supposedly incompatible benefits that have now been combined.

Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact. New High Coverage Formula With SPF 50+

My experience with Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact:

I absolutely love the packaging and new development this year. The mesh and the cushion look more luxe and well made in this new one. No doubt, it feels good to see a firm mesh rather than that old scrappy sponge cushion. Other than the cushion and mesh, the packaging is same as always.

The new Lancome Blanc Expert High Coverage Cushion Compact comes in a 7 different shade specially formulated for Asian Skin tone. As far as I can remember Lancome first launched their first cushion compact back in early 2015. I was quite intrigued by it then but sadly they didn’t have my shade (they had only four shade last year) in the range. I was really hoping I’ll find my shade this time but alas! Though they have 7 shades in the range but none is there to fit my medium-tan skin. Whereas Lancome USA/UK has vast shade variation for women of colours.

The Shade I got (PR Sample) is BO-01 (picture below) is the lightest shade among all, it’s a beige tone in it.

Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact Swatch. New High Coverage Formula With SPF 50+

There is more pinkish and yellowish shade that can perfectly go with Asian/fair to a fair-medium skin.
Though the shade didn’t match my skin but I did try the product to see how it works. I used it on my undereye area and high points of my face (those usual highlight areas) instead of concealer for a week. The coverage of this foundation is genuinely impressive. I didn’t have to wear any extra concealer (I don’t have major dark circle issue) afterwards when I used this. As because I have fine lines under my eye, I did set the foundation with powder to prolong its lasting power. This cushion compact is long lasting, stayed on me 6/7 hours, however, I don’t think it will last flawlessly more than that. The cushion compact gives a demi-matte finish wich I loved and I think it will go perfectly with normal to combination skin type.

I find it high coverage only compared to a cushion foundation  but not high coverage if compared with a normal foundation (liquid or stick). If I judge it among all foundation types, it gives medium to slightly buildable coverage.

Lastly, I really wish they had my shade/shade range like UK/USA. If Lancome had my skin shade, this new high coverage cushion compact would definitely become my go to. I love how it applies and looks on the skin and it has enough sun protection for daily use.

[wp_ad_camp_3][/wp_ad_camp_3]

Lancome also launched their first cushion blush along with the cushion compact foundation. The blush offers in 7 shade variety, loved them! Might gonna get some soon, if I do I’ll surely share my thoughts on those with you guys 🙂

Kose SEKKISEI Skincare | Special Edition Trial Kit & Thoughts

14

Kose is one of the most renowned Japanise skincare company, since 1946, and Sekkisei is one of the most loved brand name under their hood. If you are familiar with Asian skincare then, I assume, you probably know them already. It’s not been long I myself got into Asian skincare and at this point, I’m very happy to try out such good stuff like Kose Sekkisei skincare. There is always something different and interesting about Asian skincare range that never fails to impress me. As you can already tell I’m going to share with you guys about my experience on a few of Kose Sekkisei skincare product.

I have been using this special edition of Sekkisei trial kit for about three weeks now. As a trial kit, this isn’t really that small but most of them are in deluxe size so I was able to accumulate my complete thoughts on them. So without blabbering much, let’s talk about the product…

[wp_ad_camp_3][/wp_ad_camp_3]

Sekkisei Emulsion:

Kose Sekkisei EmulsionKose Sekkisei Emulsion

I have a 100ml of product here, the packaging is just the same like the full-size (140ml) one. The emulsion is very thin and liquidy in texture yet very rich in moisture. Absorb quickly deep into the skin and feels very refreshing. As we know emulsion is supposed to use before moisturizer but for this one, I didn’t feel that I need to use a moisturizer over it because this emulsion itself is quite intense.
It claims to prevent freckles, dark spot and dryness. Yes, it does works on recovering dryness however I’m not sure yet if it’s works on preventing dark spot.

Focus ingredients: Inula Britannica Flower, Chinese Pearl Barley, Paeonia Albiflora Root, Melothria Heterophylla and Angelica

Sekkisei White Liquid Wash:

Kose Sekkisei Liquid Wash

The texture of this face wash is exactly like the emulsion, thin but very creamy, almost feels milky on the skin. I love the after feeling as well, it cleanse without drying out the skin and leaves skin hydrated. It claims to be enriched with Rubus Suavissmus Extract that enhances skin dullness and soothes UV damage. With every use skin is restored to its optimal condition, ready for the next skincare step.

Sekkisei Clear Whitening Mask:

Kose Sekkisei Clear Whitening MaskKose Sekkisei Clear Whitening Mask

This is probably the one peel off mask that I like so far. Generally, I don’t like peel-off masks, I find them very critical to remove. Sekkisei Clear Whitening Mask is very gentle to skin, spreads evenly, dries out to perfection and proper elasticity so it is very easy to remove. Top of that it cleanse pores nicely and doesn’t get that hard so you’ll feel uncomfortable. It claims to brighten and hydrate at the same time! Infused with Chinese Quince extract that inhibits sebum production on, while a blend of oriental plant extracts delivers supreme whitening benefits. Nano-sized black powder allows the mask to spread easily.
The trial pack of this mask gave me four use and I’m kinda considering it to continue.

Sekkisei Lotion:

Kose Sekkisei Lotion Kose Sekkisei Sheet Mask

This SEKKISEI lotion is their best seller product. I don’t know why they call it lotion when it totally looks and acts like a toner. But it can be used as a toner and as a mask. The trial pack came with a few dry sheet mask tablet. It was ment to be used with the lotion. You need to soak up the mask tablet with the lotion and then put it on the face like all other sheet masks. I loved how soft and thin the mask fiber itself was (I already used up all).
The lotion looks exactly like water(or I should say like all other toners), clear and runny. I use it now as a toner, soak up a cotton pad with it, then apply it after cleansing my face and before the emulsion. It doesn’t feel creamy or oily in the skin, leaves skin hydrated and the fresh floral scent never fails to refresh my mind.
Sekkisei lotion contains Coix Seed, Angelica, Melothria and more ingredients which are carefully selected out from 100 types of oriental plants, that plays a vital role in balancing the skin’s moisture level and brighten it up from within. This one has been my ultimate favorite among all these Sekkisei products.

Overall, it has been a nice experience so far with all Kose Sekkisei skincare product. Nothing occurred any skin issue but I’m so much in love with the lotion and emulsion. Definitely, will continue using them once I finish my current bottle. If you’re somehow struggling with your skin you might give Kose Sekkisei skincare a try as because they are mild, effective and kind to skin.

[wp_ad_camp_4][/wp_ad_camp_4]

If you aren’t familiar with Sekkisei then you must be wondering about the brand. The motto of Sekkisei is ‘Glow From Within’. Setsuko (pic of the girl) – an icon with a fun-loving, bubbly personality, well-loved by Japanese SEKKISEI fans. Setsuko’s name means ‘little snow’ in Japanese; a perfect match with the brand’s commitment to bringing snow-white skin to women all around the world… Interesting, isn’t it?

Kose Sekkisei

And lastly, I have to appreciate the brand’s effort(I couldn’t resist sharing) on how they sent me the goodie pack! It was such a surprise seeing the huge box filled with love! I guess it represents the characteristic of Setsuko, haha🎈

Cellnique Advance Bio Renewal Masque & Skin Action Sebum Gel

28

Cellnique named this duo pack of Advance Bio renewal Masque and Skin Sebum Action Gel ‘No More Blackheads’ express kit.

Let me tell you my skin status first, I have combination skin, no blackheads but often I see whiteheads in my nose area. I have a few rashes/bumps on my cheekbone area, other than that everything is normal. I was a bit confused before using this express kit by Cellnique as because this duo pack is focused on blackheads and luckily I don’t have that issue. Then again thought to give it a go to see how it works other ways like for whiteheads and pore cleansing etc.

Before moving on to the product, I think I should give you a little intro about the company…

About Cellnique Skincare:

Cellnique No More Blackheads Express Kit

Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel | RM198

This product is a clear gel, comes in a 30ml pump tube. This was instructed to use after cleanser and toner within day and night time skin care.

The product has a Phyto bio-engineering formula that promises to reduce both blackheads and whiteheads without any painful extraction. It also claims to reduce oil secretion and show result within 10 days. There is witch hazel extract in this gel which helps to disinfect bacteria or inflammation that you might have in your skin.

I don’t really have blackheads but I do have white heads. I have been using this as instructed regularly. From my experience, firstly what I can say is I love how refreshing it feels on the skin. It feels minty/menthol-ish when applied, which gives a very cooling sensation. It does help to control oil secretion for sure. I have a few little bumps (they aren’t pimples, just little bumps. I guess formed because of hot weather) on my cheekbone area and since when I started using this Cellnique Sebum Gel, those bumps seem to be reducing.

About whiteheads, I’m not so sure, I still see them on the side of my nose but probably not as much as before.

Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel

Ingredients of Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gell:

Purified Water (Aqua), Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis) Extract, Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) Extract, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Menthol, Poly(Oxy-1,2-Ethanediyl), α-(Donyl Phenyl)-ω-Hydroxy, Sodium Hydroxide, Peppermint (Mentha piperita) Oil, Male Fern (Dryopteris filix-mas) Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Potassium Azelaoyl Diglycinate, Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) Leaf Oil, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea

Cellnique Advance Bio Renewal Masque

Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Masque | RM198

50g of this mask comes is a glass-like plastic jar. The packaging is on the luxurious side, I kinda like it. It smells very delicious, just like some kinda dessert probably because it has fruity acids in it.

The mask has a creamy texture, almost clayish but not completely. It is a full exfoliating grainy particle, or I should say chunks (but those aren’t anything harsh. Might be pineapple chunk as this has pineapple in it).

Ingredients:

Purified Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Kaolin, Glycolic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, C12-20 Acid PEG-8 Ester, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Papaya (Carica papaya) Enzyme (Papain), Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, Caprylyl Glycol, Titanium Dioxide, Citric Acid, Pomelo (Citrus grandis) Peel Extract, Pineapple (Ananas sativus) Fruit Extract, Acrylate / C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Potassium Sorbate

Cellnique Advance Bio Renewal Masque

How to use Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Masque?

I use this mask once a week. After cleaning my face, I spread the mask on all over my face and neck then rest for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes or so the mask gets dry but I pat some water over that so it gets wet and soft again. Then I massage my face with soft hand concentrating in the nose and chin area. This mask exfoliates so well, It’s not harsh to skin but gives that clean feeling. After massaging my face for one or two minutes, I rinse off my face. This mask cleanses every bit of dirt from the face/pores and gives an instant brightening effect (well, that’s not really visible in camera so I could show you a before and after picture).

It also removes dry flaky skin, leaves the skin tightened but baby soft afterward. This is wonderful stuff and my favorite from the two Cellnique product I’m using.

Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Masque is for all skin type, however, I feel it might get a bit strong for sensitive skin people if they aren’t careful enough while exfoliating.

To conclude my thoughts about Cellnique skincare,

Lastly, I would like to mention even though I don’t have that exact skin issue is which these products are targeted to but I love using them, especially the mask, because they are effective in a various way. You might find them a little pricey but it’s our precious skin we are dealing with. I personally don’t mind spending on a product that feels good and works well. I also believe who have serious blackheads/whiteheads problem they’ll be benefited using this Cellnique ‘No More Blackheads’ Express Kit.

How to dry makeup brushes? I have a cheap solution for you, the Brush Drying Stand

50

Wondering how to dry makeup brushes properly? I have a cheap solution for you. I’m really excited to write this post about the brush drying stand. If you already have this then you already know the deal but if you don’t then girl you must get your brushes a drying stand, It will make your brush drying process lot easier and organized.

I use to dry my brushes just laying them flat on a towel but that was always a mess. Once my maid trashed one of my favorite liner brush. Seeing that brush on the floor she thought I don’t need that anymore! Can you feel my pain???

However, it took me time to consider spending on a brush drying stand. I always felt that’s just unnecessary. But as because my brushes were growing in number it started getting more messy and critical to find a clean surface to let them lay flat and dry. When Sigma launched their dry n shape tower I was intrigued. Almost bought one. Luckily, at the checkout a good thought came up in my mind, “I should find a cheaper option rather than spending $40 on that dry n shape tower”.

Usually, I don’t get a hundred brushes to wash at the end of the day but it’s around 15 to 20. So I definitely don’t need (was so determined to save money haha) to be that fancy to spend $40. Thus, I browsed through eBay and ordered this $9 worth brush drying stand.

People call this thing ‘brush tree’ as well.

How to dry makeup brushes, cheap solution, sigma dry n shape tower dupe

The stand is 5″/8″ in size and height is 4.5″. This is made of plastic, obviously, but sturdy enough to hold the weight of brushes; assembling it is just kids play. This one holds 26 brushes at once. It also has big, medium and small holes so can hold fat to skinny, whatever shape your brush has. You can also de-assemble it easy to store it in a compact way.

[wp_ad_camp_3][/wp_ad_camp_3]

How to dry makeup brushes, cheap solution, sigma dry n shape tower dupe

Won’t lie, I was super skeptical while ordering. Thought those cut out spooky grips won’t be well made and will scratch my brush barrel. When it came home I got happy seeing those spooky things are made of soft silicone-ish plastic as you can see from the picture above). No chance of getting any scratch on my brush but they are strong enough to hold my fattest brush.

Loving this brush drying stand ever since I got this. If you wash more than 26 brush at once regularly (I wash all my brushes after every use) then you can definitely get more of this stand because they are cheap! When I’ll be uber rich then I might give Sigma dry n shape tower another thought but for now, meh, totally don’t need that! haha…

I strongly recommend this if you’re still drying your brushes just laying them on the floor. eBay it right now, there are thousands, just find a right seller who can easily ship to you (better if you can find free shipping to your destination). They have different names on them but I don’t really care that. I assume all these stands are made of China and all are same.

Brush Drying Stand

Lastly, I’ve got a little extra trick on how to dry makeup brushes properly:

This is about how you should keep your natural hair brushes in shape. For what, you don’t have to spend money.

De-shaping doesn’t really happen with synthetic hair bristle. But, You probably noticed it before, those brushes with natural hair bristle often tend to fly away and make weird shape when washed. To get the right effect in your makeup and to make more use out of your brush it is very important to keep your brushes in shape.

For my MAC brushes and a few sigma eye brushes, I use a soft towel or tissue to take off as much water as you can from the brush. Then tear apart a small (single ply) piece of facial tissue and fold around your natural hair brush tip with that. Let the brush dry normally. As because the tissue isn’t much thick so it won’t create any problem passing air in-out but will keep the brush hair in its shape. I always do this with all my natural hair brushes when drying, no matter if I’m lying them flat or in a stand.

Mentholatum Botanics Pomegranate Sheet Mask | RM6.90

Mentholatum Botanics Face Mask

This pomegranate sheet mask is enriched with antioxidant, has 22ml of essence inside the pack. It claims to protect the skin from free radical damage and aging. Also claims to awaken and moisturize the skin with its hyaluronic acid and naturally rich herbal extract. The sheet is made of Lyocell fiber derived naturally from trees so the mask is breathable and comfortable on the skin.
I love how the sheet fits my face and there is enough amount of liquid to plump up the skin perfectly. After trying this one now I very much keen to try the other sheet mask by Mentholatum Botanics.

Mentholatum Botanics Tea Tree Deep Cleansing Face Wash | RM14.90 for 100g

Mentholatum Botanics Tea Tree Deep Cleansing Face Wash

This is a paste type of face wash, the paste has very soft geen-ish color. It has refreshing scent of lemongrass that is surely calming. Main ingredients are Ylang Ylang (a tropical Malaysian/Indonesian tree. Essential oil of Ylang Ylang known for its antidepresent, antiseptic and many other benefits), Tea Tree, White Tea and Olive Tea that helps to blance oil, deep cleanse and purifies pores. Also claims to prevent blemishes and blackheads.
I love how it cleasne, literally leaves my skin squiky clean, removes all the traces of makeup also controls oil for a cirtain period like 4/5 hours. It doesn’t feel drying in my combination skin afterward but I feel it won’t be suitable for dry to normal skin. Yes obviously, this facewash is addressed for oily to combination skin.

Mentholatum Botanics Rosehp Oil Moisturizing Face Wash | RM21.90 for 150g

Mentholatum Botanics Rosehip Oil Face Wash

This is a creamy type face wash, has almost runny consistency but not runny like water. To be more precise, the texture feels milky upon application, has a sweet floral scent in it. Texture-wise this one is my favorite of all. This one lathers up once applied and mixed with water. I use Clarisonic Mia 2 (read more here) in my beauty regime so I find this face wash perfect to work with. Main ingredients of this face wash are Rosehip Oil(Rosa Canina, a wild rose species found in Europe and western Asia), Vitamin C and pearl extract which helps to brighten, tone and improve skin’s luminosity. This one also claims to be enriched with collagen that helps to boost skin’s moisture retention ability.
I can’t deny, this facewash does feel moisturizing, that doesn’t mean it makes skin oily but removes oil and dirt to every bit.

Mentholatum Botanics Tea Tree Foaming Face Wash | RM25.90 for 160g

Mentholatum Botanics Tea Tree Foaming Face Wash

I strongly feel foam cleanser comes handy when you are lazy to apply and rub the product with water to lather it up. The foam we want to dissolve the dirt is already there with a push of pump. Sounds fantastic, isn’t it?. I have used other foam cleanser (read here) earlier and those felt quite mild when it comes to cleaning makeup but this one has a bit more cleansing power. Controls oil for around 3/4 hours, it also feels gentle on skin.
This Tea Tree Foam face wash has the similar scent and ingredients like the tube one except there is some additional ingredients such as Wild Pansy extract which is effective in curbing blemishes. It is mentioned for oily to combination skin but from my experience I feel normal and sensitive skin people can also use that.
